He's voiced by a black person though...?
Barrett white washing?
Doesn't need a remake. Perfect the way it is. Perhaps a remaster that actually updates the gfx to modern standards, but no need for a remake the way of RE2 and RE3.
After RE3make, they need to move on to RE8 and design that game similar to RE2make.
I don't get the hate. She looks very similar to the previous Jills. If anything, Claire was the one that looked so different.
And if you don't like her outfit and want the original, you can get them via preorder.
Did you see the trailer for Christopher Nolan's Tenet?
It's starring John David Washington who also starred in BlackKklansman - an excellent film by Spike Lee.
Do you think Christopher Nolan chose JDW because he's black? Or because he's a great actor and most likely fit the role Nolan envisioned?
The problem that's so glaringly obvious in Netflix's The Witcher is that a lot of the cast were cast purely for divers...
Putting aside the awkwardly-placed token ethnic actors, the story of episode 1 which I just watched was a complete shambles. If you're new to The Witcher, without reading the books, you would have no clue what's going on.
R&D includes every cost to do development which is why it's called Research & Development.
And engine isn't enough. The team likely did a huge amount of travelling for gfx and world design research. After all, the game looks exactly like Iceland. And a huge part of the gameplay is its hiking simulator - something which in itself is pretty groundbreaking and not really done before in a video game. I'm sure a fair amount of budget went on researching that....
lol they had a hefty Sony budget. 80 people's salaries for 3-4 years weren't probably as expensive as all the acting talent and R&D costs.
Plus, even if Sony doesn't make a loss, poor sales mean bad things for KojiPro. It may make Sony think twice before giving Hideo a big bad of cash.
Death Stranding's story has really creative and intriguing concepts but poor execution especially towards the end. The cutscenes are relatively few throughout most of the game until the last 3-4 hours of the game where it just overloads you with a mountain of exposition.
And having us sit and run on the beach during the credits for like an hour to learn answers to a couple of mysteries that should have been answered earlier was the height of frustration. I get that the ...
This is somewhat good news. Hopefully, it won't take too long for Part 2 to come out. I reckon 2-3 years should work. After all, they finally got the core gameplay sorted out - they just need to produce all the content.
Hmm, Super Metroid remake that is similar to Metroid: Samus Returns.
As much as that would definitely turn out amazing, I also kinda wish Nintendo would take a risk again at trying to make a 3D 3rd person Metroid game. I know Other M didn't work out, but it did feel like it was on the path to something great.
To be fair, latest DOA has Kasumi all dressed up. She's no more/less sexier than Bayonetta. So there's still a chance.
But I have to say, it was obvious that Nintendo wouldn't approve of Mai. A greatly censored version of her would have pissed off all sides. Terry is already iconic so he makes the right amount of sense.
Wouldn't be surprised if a Fire Emblem character is coming up. Sm4sh's DLC had 2 FE characters.
Would be nice to have Crash or Spyro or both. Their remakes have been released on the Switch too.
Contenders for the next Bandai Namco rep:
Dig Dug, Mappy, Mishima, Ivy or Mitsurugi.
Best way to look at this: A very expensive indie game.
The first Shenmue was a bit of a bore. Shenmue II was amazing and I absolutely loved the 1980s Hong Kong setting. So long as Shenmue III has the same charm and excitement as Shenmue II, then I'm satisfied.
To be honest, I salute Kojima here.
Since the reveal of this game, I'd been very confused about what exactly you do. After all, Kojima was just releasing cutscene trailers with very little gameplay. Up till recently, I was slightly worried because, yes the game looks pretty, yes the story looks freaky, yes the little snippets of gameplay have weird interesting gimmicks, but what IS the gameplay? What do you do? What is the hook? What is it?
This was ...
Mass Effect is not an FPS which is the basis of my point.
Tbh, I actually support this decision.
I was hoping this game would originally be 3rd person and I still think it was a huge missed opporunity not to go with that. But I've always felt that 3rd person cutscenes in an FPS games breaks the immersion. If you are going to do third person cutscenes then at least make them few and short. But this game is an RPG so of course it will be cutscene heavy.
The only odd thing about this decision is now it makes ...
Very odd decision. Isn't Gears of War an 18+ franchise? I highly doubt a character smoking in the game would have any effect on players whatsoever.
People were shocked that Nintendo announced a FE character as DLC character. I mean, there is precedence here...
Namely, Fire Emblem is a huge Nintendo franchise and they always have a rep character whenever a new game is out. With Brawl, came Ike as rep for Path of Radance/Radiance Dawn. With Smash 4, you got Robin as rep for Awakening and Smash 4 DLC with Corrin as rep for Fates. Fates came out after Smash 4's release.
Three Houses came out after SS...
