This plus Verum Rex leads me to believe that Ardyn wasn't supposed to be the main villain in FFvs13 or even FF15.

My theory is that Ardyn starts off as the primary villain for most the game with his backstory slowly revealed until Noctis and co. find a way to cure him of the Starscourge and then he joins their side. Perhaps an immortal or resurrected Somnus was originally the main villain? After all, the main theme of FFvs13 and FF15 is called Somnus.

Finished Leon campaign yesterday. I'll say RE2 remake is definitely the more RE game out of the two. Both are true survival horrors but I think RE7 is scarier. Probably because you feel much more vulnerable in RE7. Maybe it's the 1st person perspective? In RE2 remake I felt more in control and effective when trying to mange the little resources I had and keeping my back secure. I don't know if this is due to experience from past RE games or if RE2 remake is a bit too easy? But I a...

Oh yeah... That's right, SS uses motion plus for bow aiming. It was Twilight Princess that used IR, perhaps? Can't remember...

I do have a switch, but I've only got Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart. And I play with the pro controller with each of them. I'm not sure how much of these games use the joycon motion control extensively but I am assuming they're not much different to Wii nunchucks. I mean, the Switch doesn't have an IR bar.

Whereas Skyward Sword uses everything the Wii has that's motion sending; including the IR bar and motionplus.

How would the game work since the Switch doesn't use wiimotes? It would have made sense if they had made a HD remaster on Wii U.

Kojima absolutely loved scanning her and her assets for MGS5. This is no surprise lol

I just finished Shenmue 1 for the first time. I have to say it's a very odd game. The fights are awful and I would be really annoyed if it wasn't for the fact there are hardly any battles in the game anyway.

One could compare Shenmue to a click and point adventure game. The gameplay is mainly investigating and finding clues. You need to speak to everyone and look at everything in order to figure out what to do next. There is a lot of attention to detail - so much st...

But is the story any good? I've played a few DQ games and the stories don't compare to the FF series' golden era (I-X).

I'm all for turn-based combat and lots of exploration but if there's no great story to motivate me to do all that...

The young part isn't the issue. He just looks so different to the Leon we've known from RE2, RE4 and RE6.

Most likely FF7R a timed exclusive for PS4 then PC and X1 after 6 months.

Konami would probably offer Bluepoint a shitty deal that no one with any self-respect would accept. It's pretty much why MGS1 was about to be officially remade by that fan group but was cancelled.

To be honest, while there does seem to be quite a few additions, it's still the same story - and the story is one of FF15's biggest issues.

I haven't played Andromeda. The last Bioware game I played was Dragon Age Inquisition. And I must say, that it felt far too obvious at times that Bioware was thrusting their views on identity politics onto the player.

That doesn't mean that the issue of identity, gender, sexual orientation should be taboo in videogames. Far from it, these issues can make a plot more interesting or mature or complex.

The problem is that it became very clear that Bi...

AC Unity just needed English speakers with french accents. Like they did with the previous games using Italian or Arab accents.
