Yeah.
I remember.
"Sorry, we didn't reeeally mean to have you actually pay for playing used games. It was only a, um, test. You know?"
"This certainly goes to show how many nowadays react to imagery and headlines without giving them any more than a cursory look and without engaging in any sort of critical thinking.“
What else is there to say.
It's a pandemic without an ICD Code.
"I'll be watching, too. Probably, unless I won't watch it, although I wanna watch it, but maybe I don't. Possibly not. But who knows."
They hadn't in 2020.
Or, more accurately, they hadn't given up on the business idea that consoles could produce healthy business.
But since ~2022/2023, unlike in 2020 (when Spencer even thought about making everything they bought exclusively to Xbox "to spend Sony out of business"), they just switched to "everything is an Xbox".
Why didn't they promote that slogan in 2020 already?

@anast & panic
Seems to me you're both are f'n idiots.
@Panic
But why?
Tell me your thoughts as to why. I don't understand.
@anast
What's wrong with what I wrote?
This also counts for Playstation and Nintendo but, out of those ~30m Series consoles that's been sold, I wonder how many of them are still being actively used.
Is this really suprising? Looking at the evolution of the Switch, X|S and Playstation 5?
Overall great deals for everyone I guess.
For me personally though:
• "players who join PlayStation Plus during this year’s celebration can save up to 33% on select 12-month memberships."
• "players who are currently a PlayStation Plus Essential or Extra member, save 33% on the remainder of your membership when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe."
Ehhh ... Days of Play last until 11th. My...
"gamers win by the only barriers is picking where to play these excellent games."
For now.
Please don't forget:
It was Spencer himself who wanted the ABK catalogue to be available on PS and Nintendo only until the end of 2027.
But he wasn't allowed.
"Oblivion Remake
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Doom: The Dark Ages
Metaphor: ReFantazio"
If you really have enough time playing through all these games within just 40 days, not even thinking about a personal backlog in games (and ongoing new releases at the front of it), then GP can really be the choice of play.
(If you don't mind subscriptions.)
I totally get that.
My personal r...
The disc edition would now be 50€ less than it was at release (which is still crazy, sure.)
The digital edition would hit its release price again (which is still crazy, sure.)
But of course these are "only" Sony's official discounts.
It should always be favored to look out for offers in retail, which can undercut even Sony's official discounts again.
Looking at it totally without context, it's st...
@InUrFox
What does "putting everywhere" actually mean?
This book has so many pages.
• Xbox was dying in revenue
• Regulators put a 10 year deal on CoD
• Microsoft had to give away the streaming
• Spencer himself only offered 3 yrs initially
And most importantly
• Again, Xbox was dying in revenue
Xbox have the benefit of their actual financial...
The IRS demands 29bn USD in not paid taxes from Microsoft.
If we're talking bleeding.
Yeah, I think the month GTA6 will finally get released, we should see a substantial growth in hardware units being sold.
It should, no matter when, be a 1m month in units easily.
I gotta say I didn't expect PS5 sales to be down only 14% year-on-year, thought the decline would be higher.
Interesting:
PS5 being down 382k units compared to PS4's April in 2018 is probably the result of the God of War reboot release in April 2018.
It was even the later half of April, the 20th.
Great exclusives can have a pretty strong impact on hardware sales I guess.
Well, at the time, I actually did think the FTC and CMA did a poor job in court. But also the judge.
Having said that - it is what it is.
If 75bn mergers in any industry ain't a threshold to deny them, then I don't know what is.
As far as your thoughts about other 3rd parties getting taken over in the future go:
I think publisher buyouts are off the list now. I think it would be reeeeally difficult for MS to w...
I'm excited!
I have nothing against probably starting a new 007 series with a younger Bond. The same they did with 47.
What I like the most is that IOI now have two stealth action espionage franchises at their studio, that most certainly will benefit from eachother in terms of gameplay improvments and new ideas.
Really looking forward to 007, and besides I am a big fan of their Glacier Engine.
