Announcement 2019, release for Christmas 2020 or early 2021 seems like a good target to me. Sony also made the mistake of using the Cell Processor, which, although more powerful than the XB360, was hard to take advantage of, while MS used a more familiar architecture that made it easier to program for. And even with this advantage, Microsoft only won last gen by a VERY thin margin. By the end, it was practically neck-to-neck. But this gen, it's just been EMBARRASSING how ridiculous a lead Sony has.

This game was dead the moment Geoff Keighley took the microphone at the Game Awards and announced that Konami had prohibited Kojima from going to receive his award. All the crap they had done before was reprehensible, but that was the moment when we learned just how petty and vindictive they are against loyal employees. Here's a better idea: hire artists for future 4K 60 FPS NEW IPS. I consider certain games perfect, but not in the sense that they're the best there is at everything. I use the same standards as for movies: to me, a perfect game is one which is exceptional within the gaming generation it was released in, and in which, were you to change any aspect of it, it'd be to the detriment of the game.

I already have Mad Max, but goddamn, that is a BIG title for Plus. The game is uniformly great: compelling story, likable (and HATEABLE) characters, awesome fighting and THE BEST vehicular combat system ever. If you haven'tplayed it yet, you're in for a treat.

Plus Monster Hunter World being most popular on PS4 and Bloodborne released as a free game for this month. My PS4 is giving me much joy this year.

With Sony phasing out PS3 and Vita games on Plus, I wouldn't be surprised that, once the PS5 comes out, it's backward compatible so that it has a good, big library available and has tons of Plus offerings per month. And there's also the bonus that the PS5 would obviously perform as a PS4 Pro for purposes of running PS4 games that support it.
