4/10? Wow, dude, you're being GENEROUS!
Half Destiny, half Warframe.
Well, apparently, it hasn't progressed AT ALL. Pathetic amount of game footage that ran like crap.
That Anthem showcase was pathetic, 4/5ths of it was talking heads and concept art, and the rest was "gameplay" that didn't show anything new and it ran at a DISASTROUS framerate. And Anthem looks SO generic. I'd rather play Warframe.
You mean same month as Days Gone. Crackdown 3 is gonna be vaporware. And at least Days Gone has shown lots of gameplay and looks like an actual worked-on game. That Anthem "gameplay" looked like crap. The framerate was pathetic.
BREAKING NEWS!!!!
The EA conference was GARBAGE.
Facts:
-PS4 has around 1,500 games, and of those over 500 are exclusives or console exclusive.
-XB1 has around 1,300 games, and of those a little over 150 a exclusives or console exclusive.
Microsoft has a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOT of catching up to do.
@LevelSmack The only reason PS4 doesn't have backward compatibility is that the PS3's Cell Processor architecture is drastically different to the PS4's more traditional one and it'd be a nightmare hardware-wise, so count your blessings. PS5 WILL have backward compatibility, and that means it'll have a WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better game library at launch than whatever Microsoft makes next. And Game Pass, while nice, accentuates the XB1's lacking exclusives library and lack of...
It's not defending the XB1, it's defending the XB1 against the mountain of evidence that it's absolutely not worth it. Simply put, the XB1 doesn't have enough exclusives compared to the other consoles and the PC handles 3rd-party gamed way better and has a METRIC SHITLOAD of more games thanks to Steam.
So I can:
a) Spend about $3000 to have all consoles and a gaming PC, including one console that has no significant exclusives that merit a purchase, or
b) buy the console that has the most exclusives and a robust third-party library.
Yeeeeah, I think I'll stick to b, thanks. Not only that, if you advocate having all consoles, then you'd want to buy the games for the system that runs them best. That would be a PC. That leaves just having a console f...
Honestly, Microsoft would be better off using the XBox name as a brand for a gaming PC. At least that way they could have a much bigger library and have additional functionality. As a console, the XBos brand in unsalvageable at this point. Anyone who says MS has any chance to recover and win this generation is an absolutely deluded MS fan, cause objectively and rationally, it can't possibly compete with Sony. Hell, it can't compete with Nintendo, and they just started with the Switch....
And not only that, get a Bluetooth dongle and DS4Windows and the Dualshock 4 is an excellent wireless PC controller, too. If you have a PS4 and a PC, you're not missing anything. What does the XB1 have? Sea of Thieves, Forza, Gears? Cause Halo and State of Decay have been releasing on PC, and Crackdown is apparently never coming out. Meanwhile, the list of what you'd be missing without a PS4 is long as hell and still growing.
Dragon's Dogma 2 please!!!
Ubisoft are full of shit. They probably already have PS5 development kits, and Nintendo is barely getting started with the Switch. Maybe it could be MICROSOFT'S last year in the console market, but the other guys will be fine.
That's unfair. Bad game mechanics are one thing, that's inexcusable, but bugs can be very hard to identify in open-world RPGs. The sheer amount of different possibilities and factors a player can affect in those makes it a very long process to be able to achieve them being bug-free. The Witcher, Bethesda RPGs, etc., arguably take more time debugging than developing.
The Reverend Jim Jones himself would tell this guy to take it easy on the Kool-Aid.
First of all, saying the console wars don't exist? How about you ask Sega and Atari about that? And dismissing the console wars is to dismiss the titanic amount of innovation and exclusive games that comes from conpetition. Halo would not exist if Microsoft didn't want a killer app on the original XBos to compete with the PS2's dominance of the market. And I bet if I asked who w...
I dunno why someone disagreed with you, I also agree, even as a Sony fan, that Microsoft had a much stronger exclusives library last generatio as compared to now.
Sony's been WRECKING MS like Godzilla vs. Tokyo this gen, to be sure, but they did well for themselves last gen.
I hate this egomaniacal creep. He constantly bitches and complains about other games like his shit don't stink and his games are masterpieces, when they are middle-of-the-road at best and prurient incel wish fulfillment fodder at worse (remember "She kicks high"?). Not to mention he's a real-life sexual harasser. I'm glad he's been out of the spotlight, I can't stand the fucker.
That redhead presenter was beyond annoying and embarassing. You can tell she hasn't touched a game controller in her life.
