Yeah, the 3rd was a joke.
A previously exclusive game is going to another system, like DMC4 coming to 360.

Outside chance but......Sony is removing Bluray from the PS3, giving the consumers a console actually designed for gamers at a more realistic price.
Features missing from the 360 version of Madden have nothing to do with space limitations. How much of the DVD9 was used up by Madden '07? I'll give you a hint: It wasn't all of it, or even close. No game yet, has used all of a DVD9. Insomniac's claim of 22gig is B.S. because it is uncompressed. Compressed, like every other game, it could fit on a DVD9. Games that use a lot of CGI cutscenes, like FF, could use up more space than a DVD9 because CGI movies take up a lot of space. So does a lot ...
He's not saying the technology in the PS3 sucks. Geez, you fanboys are so defensive. He is saying that if Sony did not decide to use Bluray, they would be able to do a worldwide launch and the system would be out already. This is completely true.
All 'new tech' is unproven, which is why electronic devices have defects. They all do. Sony has decided to use two new techs, however, the cell and bluray. MS only used one, ATI's new GPU designed specifically for the 360. Nvidia's GPU...
You're a moron. With Bluray's low read speads, it needs compression. Compression is actually a good thing. Uncompressed games with lower read speeds are bad. You are cheering about a negative, moron. Have fun with your minute and a half load times. Games will be no different on a PS3, as the PS3 doesn't offer anything better. Motion-sensing has been done before. It sucks. At least Nintendo is trying harder. Sony just put it in because they can't have rumble. Again, you are cheering for a nega...
Actually, MS sold 375k 360s in the US for its launch. Sony is predicting 400k PS3s in the US for its launch. That's not much of a difference, assuming Sony actually reaches that number. Of course, MS was also selling 360s in Europe at the same time. Sorry, Sony, you lose. Also, Europeans, don't sell yourselves short. Europe is actually the second biggest market, not Japan. Europe is a key player in the console war. If MS takes advantage of this by offering Europeans something during this time...
I was blown away by the E3 demo and this game keeps getting better. I'm putting this game on the same tier as GoW and Halo 3 as a very strong exclusive reason to own a 360.
It's really good the he's so supportive of the Xbox/360.Team Ninja and Capcom, who have so far been coming through with flying colors for the 360, are turning out to be a nice potent combo for 360 owners.
It just amazes me how far Sony fans actually go. Sony screws you over and over and over, yet you still make excuses and defend them. I don't understand 'Brand loyalty'. If a company screws up too many times, move on. My god, it just amazes me. Fanboys will treat their favorite game console company better than they treat their family, friends, significant others, etc.
Just let it go. Sony has obviously crumbled. Just let the gasping animal die. Sure, they'll still sell some cons...
The console war is not going to be decided by fanboys. Fanboys, for whatever reason, know what they want and won't change their mind no matter what. However, even though it doesn't seem that way on forums, fanboys are a rather insignificant percentage of buyers. The largest percentage goes to casual buyers, ie. parents, grandparents, and those that just don't game as much as the fanboys or aren't console specific. This Xmas, the 360 is in a MUCH better position for the casual buyers. It has m...
I think the 360 dashboard still needs an update for this to work, so I guess we'll have to wait for the fall update.
I'm not saying one system is better than the other, so don't get your panties in a bunch, but if you believe the bullsh1t from Insomniac (ie. paid by Sony) about Resistance not being able to fit on a DVD9, then you are just one of those blind faith fanboys. If you actually compressed Resistance like every other game, including Crysis, GoW, Mass Effect, etc., it would fit on one DVD9. Sony has Insomniac leave the game uncompressed so they can hype a feature for the PS3 that's not needed and fo...
are worthless, biased, lying, unreliable crap sources. Nothing they say is ever true. The reviews from 1up are especially pathetic (look at the 360 Saints Row review to see what I mean - the guy didn't even play the game). Their rumors have NEVER come true and are totally biased towards Sony. What about RE5 becoming a Sony exclusive? Wrong, Capcom confirmed it's still multi-platform. EGM/1up are fanboys that are desperately clinging to the past Sony success even though it's fading. The PS3 wi...
If Sony doesn't sell 2 million PS3s by Xmas due to production issues, cell issues, RSX issues, bluray issues, or any of the other issues it seems to be having or had (as Sony has yet to start mass production), Assassins Creed will be released on the 360 almost immediately after the PS3 version. Anyone who thinks this game won't be released on the 360, PC, and PS3 is kidding themselves. Sony can't afford nearly as many complete 3rd party exclusives anymore (especially with its dominance at an ...
Wow, every day it seems like these moronic Sony fanboys are getting worse, like Liquidfart. Honestly, if I was on the fence I would be turned off of buying a PS3 because of these idiots. These morons are doing more harm than good to their cause of supporting the Sony cult. They never back anything up with actual facts, they just spout idiotic comments. For example, this Liquidfart guy says to get the PS3 because it has a greater variety of games, yet there are way more games in development fo...
All I can say is wow. This arguement is based on ONE game, that's not even finished. Also, one of the two systems isn't even on the market yet, or even started to be mass produced. The story is reported by a website that is on Sony's payroll (Sony pays Gamespy for PS3's online services, Gamespy is the parent company of IGN). How can anyone use this to make an arguement for or against anything? It's utterly ridiculus and just shows the moronic immaturity of fanboys. Personally, I look at all g...
The reason Sony is pushing Bluray this early is because they are struggling as a company and see this as a way to right the ship. Unfortunately for Sony, it's WAY TOO early to promote Bluray as HDTVs are not even near commonplace in homes and won't be for several years.
Sony is thinking that it can slip one past by forcing PS3 supporters to have to buy bluray. Then Sony can use this data to say it has more bluray players on the market so all movie houses should adopt bluray, he...
Sony is sort of caught in the middle with Bluray. Most gamers who are thinking of buying the PS3 could give two craps about bluray. Most movie buffs who are thinking of upgrading to the next gen DVD format could give two craps about built in players. Built in players are crappy compared to stand alones. If you really wanted to upgrade your home theatre system, you wouldn't do it with a PS3. Sony is trying to inflate their numbers by saying that everyone that owns a PS3 will buy bluray movies....
RE5 is already coming to the 360 and Capcom has talked about DMC4 as well. The door swings both ways.
lalaland - 1.3 million 360s were sold in Europe by June 06. It's obviously more now, but that's the latest number I could find. The PS3 delay in Europe and exclusivity of FIFA '07 and Pro Evo until the end of the summer will definately help 360 sales in Europe.
PS3fan - Sony can't possibly have 4 million by the end of the year. They would have to sell 3.5 million in the month of December. Seeing as they can only get 500k ready for launch, they most likely won't get more than 1 ...
