so it actually makes the ranks mean a little more. You can still play with your friends, just in Unranked matches. I don't see it as a problem at all. Ranks are constantly messed with by boosters and cheaters. At least MS is trying to do something about it.
You couldn't be further from the truth. There are cultural differences in nearly everything people do. The differences between eastern and western are so glarringly obvious, I'm not going to bother to list them all. I suggest you get out more, not everyone is the same.

I've also read and heard from a lot a people that the control system is nearly flawless. Maybe it's a matter of opinion or maybe a learning curve that explains the different reports. In all of the videos of someone playing, the only thing I saw that didn't immediately seem right was someone tried and failed a couple times with the chainsaw. It that instance it seemed a little off. The cover system looked extremely easy, however.
OXM has to do the exclusive demo thing. Otherwise, no one would buy the magazine when you can just get all of your info, and more up to date, on the internet. Damn exclusive demos. I want to play this demo soon, but I don't want to buy that mag.
If you buy anything at launch (360, PS3, Ipod, whatever), buy a warranty, as there will always be problems with new, complicated devices. This author acts like this is something new.
I'm actually kinda glad some games got delayed to 2007, as I was going to have to pick and choose. Now, I can get most of the great ones this year and then buy the next set of great ones in the spring. I would hate to have to pass up one for awhile.

I've encountered more girls playing the 360 than any other console. This doesn't include portables or PCs, just consoles. PS3, Wii, and 360 are the current gen. The PS3 and Wii are basically out at this point, and support for the previous gen (Xbox, PS2, Gamecube) has slowed to a crawl (or is nonexistent as with the Gamecube and especially the Xbox).

The atari 2600 did not have any competition. It was the first 'real' home game system, so of course it sold well. How did Atari's next console do, it bombed. This is very old news. MS talked about this 6 months ago. All consoles do this to save money. It's not like the 360 is receiving a performance upgrade and it also doesn't mean there is anything wrong with current 360s.
