I bought it for my 8 year old too ( of course I play along w him and buy a game or 2 for me as well) and from the start the huge game delays effected the availability of games for either of our taste - He used to like Mario but is burnt out of Mario platformer s and I don t like platformer s much in general - So if someone does not love every game Nintendo puts out and love platformer s then the game captions get pretty thin on the Wii u and don t seem to be improving

Sounds like your numbers may be off or at least disclose the method used to get them
Nintendo just does not care about the Wii u, nor the people who own them. They can t even give release windows for most of their games- we are having a 2nd huge game drought this year and they say things like "in the future" or "coming months" which means absolutely nothing

I own a Wii U (only home console) and support Ubi- they are one of the few to stick by the Wii u long after most dev s decided to stay away (for good reason)- Ubi stuck w Wii U and for its effort they lose money and have a bunch of whiny kids complaining about their support- Ubi has supported the Wii U more than Nintendo!
What strategy did Iwata have for the Wii U from the start?
Now that we are over 1 year and 2 holiday sales seasons past since the wii U launch with no real success (from a business point of view), what is Iwata s strategy for the Wii U now?
These are sincere questions. I have listened to him and seen (I own a Wii U since launch) their actions but I could not tell anyone the answer to those 2 questions.

it is def a hoax - some fan boys dream I guess
look at the sales of Assasains Creed Black Flag-
They have sold far more on the PS4 and XB1 than Wii U-
The PS3 version of Rayman sold the best and the XB 360 version sold nearly as many as the Wii U version -
Ubisoft sold far more copies of Rayman going multiplat than they wold have if they had kept it only on the Wii U
So yes they did learn
I just hope we still get Watchdogs sooner or later- I would rather have the option to buy a game late than not at all- particularly since options on the Wii u are usually in short supply
That would not only be a great move for the Wii U but also for the future of Nintendo- Minecraft seems to have a near cult like following among the next generation of y0oung gamers - check out some fo the opollar lets play type minecraft guys on you tube- they ll get a million views w in 24 hrs of posting a video- it is unreal IMO
