There they go again- just tearing it up on the virtual console and eshop for the Wii U-
Every week see 3 or 4 articles about all these Indy games for the Wii u - were are they?
The console is struggling terribly and they still can t get games out on it
In a future console update? So it could happen tomorrow or it could be 100 years from now. A timeframe of "in the future" is meaningless-
The sales # s are coming from Nintendo so they do include digital- NSMB was one of the few quality games in the launch window so most everyone bought it them- After the launch window it went into the bundle
With the exception of the last shot, I could barely tell the difference- Re shots 1-3 I could find parts of both versions that were better tan the other
Shot 4 was not close enough to the same shot
Shot 5 clearly illustrated the difference but it was the only shot that was not an action shot
The article said : If Apple did a video presentation of their next product they would still get the same amount of coverage- that may be true but Apple doesn't do a video presentation. they do a live presentation and have been for many years- MSFT and Sony could do video taped presentations too but they don t....for good reason
Nintendo needs to be "front and center" for their presentation- they could still do all the things they announced for e3 but that sho...
Do people here not realize that both MSFT and Sony Press conferences are streamed live too? They are doing both- giving a live presentation and giving the rest of the world a chance to watch it via live stream-
Ill bet anyone there will be higher web traffic watching MSFT and Sony presentations than watching the Nintendo direct
Why can t Nintendo do both? What are they hiding from besides the competion
I rarely watch video news for more than a minute or 2 if at all- but I watched all of this one and they did a very good job-
If Nintendo did all of the things they announced for e3 so far AND topped it off with a big Press Conference then I think it would potentially be a good e3 for them (if they have enough ammo for it) but the fact they are dodging the press conference is not encouraging - It is loike they have something to hide or they just don t have enough good to sa...
The list is for 2014 releases- X has not been announced for 2014 ( for the US anyway). I think Ninty said it may release in Japan late 2014 and in the us after that
Not sure about Hyrule Warriors. - I think that IS supposed to release this year
When the Wii U is NOT in a drought, then weekly/monthly games sales are higher- when the Wii U IS in a drought then sales trend lower- that tales bias and opinion out of the equation when answering this question-
Our console and software sales tell us we are very much in a drought and it is not our first

Looks the like the votes are in and it is unanimous; releasing the 3DS version 1st is a horrible decision. Whenever the emotional votes side w Nintendo s decisions and/or future results of their decisions (re the Wii U) at near 100% rates, then it is bad new for the Wii U
The better the Wii U sells the more Nintendo (and perhaps other Dev s) will invest in games- the less it sell the less Nintendo will invest in games and its lifespan may be shortened substantially
If you are happy w 1 game a year that you like on the Wii U then you should be content w the Wii U-
I agree that there are some 3rd party games that were not complete, priced too high - that just were not competitive w the versions they put out on other systems- no doubt and those did not deserve to sell well and I am glad they did not- but that does not account for all 3rd party efforts and poor sales on the Wii U
Nintendo needs to come together w some of the better 3rd parties and defend the Wii U, ensure it has some good content in between 1st and 2nd party releases- ...
I m w you- I ll wait for the Wii U version

most of the market are not fanboys who accept anything Nintenod says or does with child like glee- The Wii U is proof of that-
I want Nintendo and the Wii U to succeed- Their echo chamber needs to be smaller not larger
Except it did not sell more on the Wii U- it sold more on the PS3
Ubisoft came out much better going multiplat on Legends-
Not ALL the 3rd party games are gimped- many are not- That is just another excuse- look at my post above re the Lego games
What is the excuse there? and for AC4- The XB1 and PS4 both launched after AC4 was released, had far less install base and sold multiples more than the Wii U

Why would Ubi need to use poor Watchdog sales "as an excuse" to get out of supporting the Wii u?
There are already plenty of examples of 3rd party sales failures on the wii u to date- including Ubi and non Ubi titles
The article even said at the beginning 3rd party sales on the Wii U are bad- Is Ubisoft supposed to be contributing to the Nintendo welfare fund?

It will help Nintendo re revenue short term- It will help the 2nd half of the year for the 3ds-
It will hurt the Wii U short and long term therefore it will hurt those of us that already own a Wii U-

Nintendo acted as if they gave up on the Wii u since a month or 2 after launch - they have made a sorry effort all the way around and it is a shame because there are some very nice aspects to the Wiii u-
