I've always gotten the Xbox right away, but this time around I'm just going to wait. There's just no point right now.
The credibility was already pretty much zero on the first day when they're handing out awards for games not even out yet.
I think it's more about seeing something next-gen exclusive running on SX. I mean, we saw Gears 5 and I think Minecraft a long time ago, but I think a lot of people just don't give two shits about a current-gen game running on next-gen hardware.

Bayonetta 2 was built for the Wii U and later ported to the Switch. That's entirely different from trying to build a next-gen game that also is playable on the previous generation.
I'm left wondering how the Series S isn't going to be holding back the Series X even if it wasn't for the whole cross-gen thing.
I haven't read in to anything yet, but the trailer sure seemed to me it was going off of the end of the previous game.

I guess with the coming of digital only consoles, they don't want to limit themselves to selling to physical only game buyers.
They separate the CE stuff from the game package anyway, so why not just sell the CE stuff separately from the game then and let the buyer purchase whatever copy of the game they want?
Seems like the last few times I bought a UbiSoft CE of a game, the good stuff was separate from the game anyway and it was just their Gold Edition copy of the game. Kind of ruins the fun of it for me, so I stopped buying UbiSoft's CE stuff. Seems to me they could just sell the stuff separate from the game.
