That and switching to lead-free solder. PS3 had some issues too as a result, just not nearly as many.
eh? I only see 489 thousand.
They said they started up sack boy from suspend.
Yes, DA was a fresh launch. There's no indication the PS5 will have multiple game suspends.
Yep, same. Still pretty though.
I hope you can change the function of the button so I can just hit it once to do a screenshot like before.
So that's on the Xbox store. Isn't that the PC version? I didn't see Xbox file sizes listed.
I'm glad the series is dead. The first game was the worst cheating AI game I've ever seen, by far. I won't even dignify it by calling it a racing game because the point of a race is to get the best position you can. Motorstorm AI? The whole point for the AI was to get ahead of you can slow you down.
Even if I wind up getting a compatible TV, I don't see myself ever going with 120 fps if there's an option.
There's time for optimization, but that might clear up some frame drops and maybe stabilize the res a bit, but I really doubt they're going to change what needs to be given up in order to hit the 120 fps.
In their live stream they explained that the teardown came out of nowhere and they're busy on other projects they would prefer to finish first before starting something new. We'll get one soon. Don't worry.
@gfk342
"No video about PS5 teardown, even if they're claiming to be an tech/ hardware channel..."
Well, there's Xboxes out in the world and they have one, so that's what they can comment on.
If you watched the 1 million subscribers live video, they talked about the teardown and said it came at a bad time because they were already working on a project and they had no notice the teardown was coming. So they have to decide to drop what...
"Eurogamer seem to be covering up claiming about 100 times that further optimisation will come etc."
Well duh. If it isn't the final version that'll be available at launch, it's worth noting so and issues can be cleared up by launch.
Hopefully when the cross-gen stuff dies off, we will get stuff that pushes better graphics, but the 120 fps stuff will probably tail off as well.
Yeah, worded poorly. I understood what they meant with the "plugged off" part, but it also sounded like you could play it powered off as well.
How about a significantly larger cooler?
Ok, where's the verifiable proof if it's out there. All I've seen is rumors.
Should it be warm enough to notice when the system isn't in use? My One X isn't.
A lot of this seems to be about the heat it's putting out while it's powered down in standby or always-on mode. This isn't something that seems to be happening with my One X.
@TravsVoid
My One X barely generates any heat. Feeling it, you can't even tell.
