Most State of Plays are pretty "meh." It's only recently that people seem to expect more out of them.
How is the title misleading? There's nothing there suggesting it's only from their own studios.

We don't know the details of their arrangement. Activision had exclusive rights until 2014. It's very possible Sony has made a separate agreement for the video game rights as well.
Sure... Has nothing to do with MS... They did the same thing in the transition between 360 and Xbox One, but now MS is allowing the old controllers to work with the new console and Sony isn't, so now it's all about just the money.

Yes, Sony has the movie rights and have an agreement with Marvel to use him in the Marvel movies, but they may also have an agreement for the rights tied to Insomniac since that's PS exclusive as well. Activision had exclusive rights until 2014, so it's entirely possible Sony or Insomniac (probably Sony) picked up those rights after the Activision deal ended. Totally agree. If we had a normal E3 this year, I'd be absorbing a lot of news and stuff over a few days and taking time off from work for it. I think we'd also have more stuff shown/announced about XSX and PS5 if they knew E3 was the big moment of the year for that sort of thing. Now we have to sit back and wait for this back and forth and see who flinches first.

Yeah, and no mention of what resolution it would be running 120fps? I think having better resolution would be more beneficial than having that high of a framerate.

I think it just looks incomplete. If this is to be a looter slasher, why not show the loot springing off the dead corpses? It has a nice framerate and textures, but seems kind of sterile.
