Hmmm. I went and checked my One X. The shelf it sits on was between 70 and 71 degrees. The temp on the top edges were about 73, but I had an Amazon Fire TV sitting on top of in the center which was certainly warmer and generating its own heat. When I checked the temp under it, it was about 85, but it was cooling off over time. The entire back of the One X was 76 across the entire length. I'm sure much of that is just heat soaked in from the Fire TV that's been on top of it. Eve...
Sorry. But they said these things were in the game. I bought the game based on what they told us was there. A lot of it wasn't, I finished the game and was done. What they did after that is irrelevant to what they said would be there and wasn't. There's no excuse for straight up lying to the customers. If you want to support that shady stuff, be my guest
So glad I noticed the /s on the 2nd line.
Too bad they didn't bother to put that effort in to getting the features they said would be there before they released the game.

They pretty much have a pool, of sorts, for it to sit in and keep it in place.
Need a side by side shot comparing the heat sink for the two.
Funny. It's almost like they're trying to hide the sides that have the pads when it isn't the side facing down.
I'm not sure how well a decal is going to stick to the symbol filled surface. It's probably going to make contact with like 10% of the plastic.
Warranty stickers are meaningless and can't be enforced.
@StoneyYoshi
You're assuming. The 980 Pro is faster, but it's also not directly hard-wired to the board and doesn't have the 6 levels of priority that the Sony memory has. It isn't known yet how much faster and 3rd party drive needs to be in order to work. That's why they said to wait until they have certified a drive before buying anything. Cerney even said there probably won't be anything certified until after the launch of the PS5.
What's with all the downvotes?
A great explainer based on the Sony patent.

Regarding my comment above, Godfall twitter confirmed shortly after my post that PS+ is not required to play alone.
The whole "Online play required" along with "PS Plus required for online play" is just worded horribly. Maybe "Online connection required" would be better.

What does the year have to do with requiring an internet connection even if someone wants to play alone? Also, it seems PS+ is required as a result.
What people seem to forget is that because it requires an internet connection, it also seems to require PS+ even if you just want to play it alone.
There was a story trailer pretty recently, so there's that, but it still isn't much.
You are truely delusional if you think Elder Scrolls 6 is coming before 2023.

Yeah, I kind of had some bad luck too. Day 1 360 died RRoD a couple weeks after the warranty ended. I know the original warranty was 90 days, but I don't remember if the warranty was already extended at that point, but either way, no warranty until later. Bought 2nd one, Core system. Not long after this the warranty was extended to one year, so I sent in my original one and kept using the Core. After warranty was up, disc drive failed. The magnet in the center of ...
And yet he didn't back it up by revealing a temp test of his own. Kind of leads you to think it isn't allowed, doesn't it?
