Well, maybe they can fix their shit now.
I never said anything about Kojima. I'm glad he's finally off to do whatever he wants. He's been wanting to move away from MGS for a long time, but if Konami brings a new MGS, I want nothing to do with it.
Only rumor I'm aware of would be Sony buying the rights. If that were true, it wouldn't apply since Konami wouldn't be handling it. Even if Sony did buy it, who would be the developer?
Sorry, I'm just not going to buy in to a Metal Gear Solid game from Konami. Let it die.
Yep, same. I tried to go back through my emails to be sure, but I guess they're only held for 5 years now. My order history showed it shipped 2 days prior to launch, so I'm not going to sweat it. Even if I do get it late.
Ok, odd time to mention that, but thanks?

"in the next few days"
really? Everything I heard said "tomorrow" which technically started at midnight.
Regardless, tomorrow was just too soon. Should have been at least a full day.
Some people have been getting their emails. There was no guarantee anyone who signed up would get one.
Maybe on future resupply, but cancelling existing orders is just asking to further piss off the customers.
Most of them did jump the gun. Sounds like it hit midnight in Europe so sellers went live there. Wal-mart saw it and said, "F it. We're going live!" Best Buy, Target and Gamestop followed. It really only seems like Amazon was the one that tried to stick with the correct date, but just got outsmarted by desperate customers.
I'd trust wal-mart long before Best Buy or Gamestop. I think you'll be ok.
Amazon's would have started at midnight, but someone found the links to add to the cart a little before that.
The Xbox One didn't sell out quickly. Unless they have severe supply issues, I don't think Series S/X will sell out quickly either. Certainly not in minutes like the PS5 did.
Someone worked out the add to cart link about 10 minutes to midnight Eastern. Something about getting the UPC code from other regions on Amazon that went live earlier. From what I can tell, they seemed to have gone out of stock about 5 minutes after midnight. Not sure the page even really went live.
It's already been sold out for a bit now.
Amazon had a limit of 1, but didn't seem to help it stay in stock very long.
I briefly considered it too, but decided to stick to my guns with hating them. With my luck, they'd probably cancel my order for no reason anyway like they seem to love to do.
Someone worked out the order links about 10 minutes before it went live on Amazon and it seems it sold out about 5 minutes after midnight.
Thank god I was looking at reddit and someone posted the links and I got one. I spent hours trying to nab one on Target and Best Buy. I probably got to the last part of my Target order about 6 times before it disappeared from my cart.
I've seen a few people claim to have received the email, and a screenshot, but not enough to know if the claims are legit.
Did people seriously think this was a monopoly?
