Stormtroopers, while not an immediate threat, may be a threat to his mission in carrying out Darth Vaders dark deeds....
This is possibly my "must-have" game of 2008 (right up there with Halo Wars). I love the themes in this story- the unknown, the dark, the fall, the love, the rise, and the redemption.
Lucas is great at story telling, and this will fill those gaps and give us more insight on how sinister and hateful, yet sorrowful Darth Vader really is, and how he conveys that to his apprentice.
I would love to see re-makes of the Halo series. As long as they fix the known problems in their games, up the graphics factor, and make each one a little more fluid... maybe even add some more plot to the story.
It's possible, and I think they COULD do it, but I dont think they WILL.

I know they can log it, which is BS imo, but to ban somebody immediately when the sign on for playing the game before release, when signed off, is ludicrous!

Yeah... there's really not too much new to that vid than what's already been revealed by bungie or by others. The only new thing I saw were the 2 maps they havent revealed yet... but that's nothing that special.

Sounds pretty good... at least for using an app like that. I've tried playing Halo theme on the guitar, and it's hard as heck, especially as you get further into the song

Probably to handle the massive amount of people that are going to play Halo 3.
There's going to be tons of 2 player, 3 player, and 4 player co-ops games going on, and that's a huge strain right there. Add to that Forge, and all the MP games that will be played, plus the video/image saves, swaps and more.

I'm sure it got approved because it was FUNNY. Everyone knows that it's not going to be on the PS3, there is virtually no proof that it ever would. That, and MS has the rights to the name for years to come.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing.... where is the in-game clips like Halo 1 and 2 had. Has to be from the Epsilon version.
Final may or may not change drastically. I think it'll look just like that, but with the in-game clips after a few minutes.
I'll probably be messing around with Forge creating my own gametypes and just playing around... than i will actually playing the game.

Halo 3's longetivity will go significantly beyond the 2 years Halo 2 did...a nd heck people still play Halo 1 even!
The article itself wasnt that great, hardly newsworthy.
However, it does bring up some interesting issues. But, MS does have their reasons for what they do. I believe their vision of Xbox Live, etc.. could not be achieved with the original system. To make Xbox Live in it's current setup, the entire original Xbox interface, gui, and hardware would have to be re-done. What better way than to just make a new system, and add a few features.

I think it doesnt look very Halo-ish. I mean, they got the ODST suits down, and the weapons, and the plasma...etc.. but something is missing.
It's gritty, and realistic, that part I like. I guess, maybe it feels more like 2010 rather than 2552 if that makes any sense. I think they could do a better job to make the ODSTs look more badass
Good review of a review... it's good to see that the Bungie team really does care about hell well their game performs. They make it seem like it's not really about the money, and it really is about the fans.
It's nice to have a game developer that makes you feel like that, even if the underlying factor is indeed money.
