After logging over 100 practice hours, I dont think he's going to appear very proactive. Announcing that you need a woman is in fact a sign of desperation...
At least he got a brand new car out of it!
Typically phone, gas, electric or internet service providers dont give out freebies, or discounts on service if something goes out.
The only time you get compensated is if it goes out for awhile and you complain about it. I've had my power go out for just under 24 hours, and the electric/gas company did nothing to compensate. I wasnt the only one either; the entire area.
They did absolutely nothing for us, but fix it. We didnt get prices dropped, or a month free....
I'm still having intermittent issues. I connect, then I don't.
I can't play online games, so all my time has been spent in Mass Effect thankfully.
I'm a heavy user of Firefox, but it's no secret that I dont use Windows as my OS either.
Occasionally I'll use Epiphany (another browser available in Linux), but Firefox has got to be my favorite browser by far.
Hell, I even have it on the laptop (which is Windows unfortunately). Problems in FF get fixed in days; problems in IE get fixed in months (if at all).
Attempts to create a "league" of any kind that will go against the N4G Rules and Regulations will indeed be shot down by the site administrators and/or moderators.
"Fighting fire with fire" is no excuse to carry on this petty "war" you think you can wage on this site. N4G is about healthy discussion and debate. This "legion" not only refutes that point, but also creates more work for us moderators to "police."

This no-name guy... Dean needs to learn how to grow up and play a game.
RPGs have been a long time favorite of mine since I started playing video games. Oblivion is still currently my favorite 360 game, but ME is looking to knock it to 2nd.
It's an RPG first and foremost; it requires making the right decisions, not only in battle, but in conversation, and more importantly where your characters (and your squads) level-up points go.
I've only been pl...
I'm just glad EA isn't publishing this RTS game. LotR and C&C3 were 2 great RTS games, but there was something still missing.
I'm a huge RTS fan, so I'll def. be getting this. The fact that it's Halo related just makes it even better!
It's not the video games that is the problem... it's the dumb-ass parents that are immature and irresponsible themselves!!
10 year old kids should NOT be playing games like CoD4 or Halo 3!
If it's really that bad, then you wouldnt have taken the time to even post that...
get over it!
Grow the hell up dude. It's people like you that make the main site comments crap.
God I'd love to have you post in the forums so I can use my mod powers to appropriately "beat you down."
If you'd have any kind of a brain you'd see that Catastrophe has no bias towards what she posts... it's called being a Contributor. If you could get it through your adolescent brain that contributing NEWS to the site is what makes the site grow, not how people do or do...
So is this a follow-up to C&C3? Or is this just a spin-off like C&C Renegade was?
...because they left the end of C&C:3 pretty open, and hinting at an expansion or sequel.
Why can't people just play the games they love on a system they desire?
Does it really care that one looks slightly better than the other. I remember when I was younger, it didnt if games on one system looked better, we all played games based on the fun factor!
Play games, not consoles boys...
"theres a difference between file copying in linux? OH RLY? in actuallity its pretty much the same method accross all systems...."
Are you talking Linux in general, or the stripped version for the PS3?
If you're talking Linux in general, than there are several methods and practices for transferring data across systems. We use Linux-based systems where I work, and my job involves a lot of data copy/transfer, from 64-bit to 32-bit and visa versa.

He's not necessarily a fan boy or whatever. I would assume that since he is a working adult, that he's passed at least high school.
I'm sure that technical competency and following directions are not an issue for him. What I do think his problem is though, is MS.
It's the simple fact that MS wants to put super protection on their software so that they reduce the amount of "miss-use" done to the system. This protection and DRM is a bunch of BS in my opin...
Looks like the devs did a pretty good job of mimicking the actual city... well, what's left of the city that is.
Be interesting to see if the other levels of the game are close to their real-life counterparts.
There's no way a PS3 game can score that high... and who's to trust Gamespot?
They're biased for whoever throws money at them!
I've been playing Halo 3 less and less since I got CoD4 and I hate going back and forth.
I love Halo (in fact, people even call me a Halo freak sometimes), but I've loved it for it's story, not its MP which is trumped by CoD4 IMO. If only CoD had the replay and screenshot feature... then it'd be AAA.
Naturally, I'll grab the maps when they're free... no need to drop $10 on something that should have been included in the game (especially the new Forge features as ...
Languages like Korean probably aren't fully supported and/or translated by MS, hence the error. Japanese however, probably is more supported, as MS always wants to appeal to Japan for some reason (as if winning the island wins the "console war").
People don't realize that not every word in the English language translates nicely into Eastern languages such as Korean or Japanese or Chinese... or hell, even the European languages for that matter.
If you do...
That was probably one of the best articles submitted here on N4G.
That is so true, and you can see it everyday on this site. It's amazing how these young kids "worship" a system like it's there job... but when the day's over we all know that mommy still tucks them into bed.
How can you not know to level up your characters? Even if you've never played an RPG... the flashing icons, soft tones, and eve a message that says "level up" should be apparent enough.
