Nice test comment Ru...
Here's mine!! :) :)
I am so looking forward to this game. Looks to be the next greatest Star Wars game yet.
Though I admit, I would still like a Battlefront 3 and KotOR 3.
Well said MK.
I watch Fox News, and they couldnt have made themselves look any dumber by doing that segment. It's BS, and as one of the few news sites that I find credible, it pisses me off to lose some of that because of misinformation and lies.
EA actually did something right. I commend him for this, as it is very immature, naive and idiotic to air something that you know nothing about and then disgrace it on nation television.
I hope that FOX news responds to this, and if not, I think EA should file a lawsuit. Normally, I'd say that's stupid, but seriously... what is up with FOX and their bad press!?
This article is very true. It applies to all consoles, not just the Xbox 360. Definitely "news" for "gamers."
I doubt this article will get much attention though, as it's aimed at helping people, and not bashing some system. Still, the title may draw in the shady crowd who likes to post negative comments...
Seriously people what is it with all this bashing and promotion of another system?
You buy what you want, and others buy what they want! It's really that simple. Who are you to tell others what they should or should not buy?
Sounds a little arrogant, selfish, and childish to me. It most certainly makes a lot of you guys narrow minded. Again, buy what you want, and let others do the same. Don't harp on others because they like something that you don't!
Who cares which one looks better (if those images are real)?
Play the damn game on the system of your choice. Who are we to tell people what system to buy, and whether or not to buy the game.
I think that's a little rude there Whoooop. I would watch your communications in future posts... they may end up getting you banned from the site.
"This kind of junk lawsuit is what makes us lawyers look bad. It also makes the country look sue-happy and too quick to file suit."
That statement couldnt be anymore true. It's a waste of time/money, makes lawyers look bad, and more importantly the country. The justice system in this country is f'd up... it all went downhill after the McDonalds coffee incident.
Would be nice if a US cinema did this... I'm not flying all the way to the UK just to play CoD4 on a movie screen.
Congrats to those that get to though... that'd be freaking awesome!
As long as my Xbox has and plays the games I enjoy then I could care less about what Bill Gates says and what format it supports.
I think all this HD/BD - DVD stuff is pointless and a waste of time, effort and money.
Gotta remember thought that Master Chief Petty Officer is an enlisted rank in the US Navy. MCPO is the highest class for an enlisted officer except in special circumstances where an MCPO becomes MCPO of the Navy (which is not really much different). He is required to take orders from all naval, marine, and army personnel that are officers.
For gaming purposes though, MCPO Spartan 117 takes orders from a number of different people/things. Sergeant Major of the Marnines (Johnson)...
It's pretty sad that we live in a world where people sue over the dumbest freaking things.
Give the company a break for crying out loud... servers go down.. get over it.
It's people like these guys that make it ok for me to get sued by a burglar that breaks into my house!
Same crap with the McDonalds coffee lady... people are so stupid. Coffee is hot... no reason to sue... damn!
I think the guys over at VideoGamer.com might be a little over zealous.
Something of this magnitude has only happened once in the 4 years I've had the XBL service. Occasionally it'll go down for a day for upgrades or other changes, but not too often. This is the 1st time that I can recall it acting up for a week or so.
I'm just glad they are compensating us in some way... unlike the Gas/Electric companies where I live... who dont compensate even if you lose your...
I dont see how this story has any credibility. It's common sense is it not?
If you put a candle behind something that outputs heat, it's going to melt- tis the nature of candles. If I were to put a candle behind my computer, I'm sure it would melt... heat is just a by-product of all the components "working" hard.
Though I admit, the 360 does get too hot sometimes.
I know you were making a joke, but just an FYI:
Even MS runs Linux servers, for the reliability and consistency. It's been proven, I dont remember where I read it, but it is.
Windows 2003 servers, and even the newer versions do crash. I know for a fact that 90% of all major companies run Linux servers...
Things go bad. There's nothing that can be done. Servers crash, motherboards short out, and hard drives fail. Why? Murphy's Law.
Anything that can go bad... will; and it can always get worse.
Nothing is perfect, especially with technology... which is almost always in a "beta" state.
Xbox Live went down for a number of reasons, probably not just one. The large influx of users logging in for the first time was probably a strain on the serv...
It started working fine for me on Monday evening... but between Christmas Day and then it was down for the count.
I acknowledge PC as the superior platform (I used to play all my games on PC). But RTS are not bad on consoles.
I played the original C&C on the N64 and loved it. The Xbox 360 did well with BFME2 and C&C3.
Still, the best platform for RTSs is the PC due to the superior KB/M, but the consoles dont do a bad job of it at all... this coming from a former PC gamer.
I really can't wait to play this game. It looks so amazing with all 3 engines working together!
Most anticipated game of 08 for me... hands down.
