i heard it was really fun- despite being a "kids" game
i love it when games have book equivalents. they offer a side story, a more in-depth look than what the game can offer. they answer questions, create their own, and immerse you into the world more than the game can... why, because of the human imagination.
why do you think the halo series books had/have a huge success??
personally i would never get a handheld gaming system. i have no use for it in my current situations. i'm always doing something, be it work, school, or playing my console on my big screen, or whatever.
a handheld was cool back in middle school (had the original gameboy), but not now...
well they're both right...
1) he shouldve contacted Epic and asked for permissions (even if he is not distributing for profit). it's kinda like citing your source in a paper.
2) Epic should back down a bit, and not be so threatening with a "cease and desist" orders. He has every right to make whatever he wants, as long as he doesnt put their copyrighted logos on it and 'sell' it
that looks really good. the trailer was good in the fact that it showed much of the new armor, weapons, and enemies you'll see in Shivering Isles...
oh, and gamekiller- i didnt think this was the last ever, just the last for awhile, meaning they could make more, but it's highly unlikely
why do people buy anything with the word "leaked" and a "?"
i doubt this is a real shot, and unless Bungie officially confirms or denies, then nobody should believe anything. It's not like they're gonna let people sneak a camera into their office- they check for that stuff.
i'm pretty sure it's concept are... just really good concept art!
never-the-less... i'm looking forward to DMM and Euphoria. even if Euphoria is toned down, DMM is gonna be awesome!
AI that can dodge, and react based upon what you do- random every time... omg!!
It's a nickname I've had since I was a sophomore in high school. My wrestling coach had a few names for me, some good, some bad (lol), and this one stuck.
i really dont see any difference in the way you create potions than how you do it in oblivion (besides the fact that it's a little more cooler looking).
still... this game is looking good
same here... every now and then it will do this.
wouldnt you say games have come quite a long way since your early days of gaming?
i would say so- i've been gaming since the NES, and I think what has happend is completely unbelievable... and they fact that the CAN do better is only even more amazing.
Gears did NOT live up to they hype in terms of single player, but IMO it's one of the best multiplayer games out there (granted Halo 2 was better "at that time").
I dont know what more you're want...
i think it would be cool to see a Halo RPG... the world through the eyes of a Spartan II. you start as a young child, and progress through the Spartan program, and then get taken off to diffferent worlds and have different, open-ended quests and what not.
there is tons of possibility, though i am doubtful on Bungie's ability to do an RPG (but it could still happen- albeit with a different engine)
i'm 21 years old, and i'll admit, now that i have my own house, a full-time job, part-time college classes, and bills to pay, girlfriend to take care of.... i play games a lot less than i did when i lived at home.
the older i get, the less i'll play, but gaming will always be a part of me (i'll be playing it with my kids, and getting them the latest games/consoles.
I totally agree with you there. Why support a product that is not making you money? It makes absolutely no sense at all (from a business standpoint). From a consumer standpoint it sounds outrageous, unfair, and "evil."
That is not the case... think about it like this. You open a lemonade stand in front of your house. Your neighbor down the street does the same thing after he sees your stand makes money. The difference is, he offers different types of lemonade (lime a...
I cant wait for this game either, but I've been playing SO much Gears of War I dont want to go away.
I admit that I'm gonna leave Gears in the dust when this game comes out, and it's a shame, cuz the gore factor is amazing.
there's still plenty of time to join... just sign up for whatever ladder you'd like.
the season ends in 2 weeks, and then the tournament bracket will start
thanks for the interest!
yeah... but for the millions of other people that play Halo2 online, it's one of the best systems out there.
IMO, no other game has come close. Sure it's not great... but from what i've read about Halo3 they've upgraded, and it's gonna blow everything away (matchmaking wise)
I really, really cant wait until this game comes out. The Euphoria engine is sooo bad ass. I cant believe how realistic that is.
I just hope they can use next-gen graphics, and still use the life-like breaking with all those particles going around.
Never-the-less, it looks amazing!
Honestly, if you think about it. UT3 is made by the same company that not only made Gears of War (the best looking Xbox 360 game currently), but they also license out the Unreal 3 engine.
If they did such a successful job with Gears, dont you think that they can only move forward and build upon what they've learned.
Look at Mass Effect, it looks amazing, and it uses the Unreal 3 engine. I dont think they're fakie pictures, I think you guys just underestimate Epi...
I agree with you. XBLA is great (the first of its kind), but it needs to improve more.
I realize this isnt an easy process, but with other companies now in the fray, they need to step it up.
