But also - most of the major gaming sites probably have the capability of getting their reviews published/out earlier than a lot of the smaller gaming blogs. Most reviews coming out now, are definitely smaller scale than the typical IGN, Gamespot, etc from last week.
Probably safe to say this is going to the norm for any blockbuster exclusives from now on. Look at the hate that exclusives like Ryse and Titanfall got.
I still haven't played this yet, but from everything I'm seeing a 7/10 seems to be a sweet spot for most of the non-biased reviews.
That one (clickbait) review site with a 1/10 score the other day was pretty funny

There probably should be more of a correlation between those, but I honestly don't think there is.
I personally think its more depressing when games that actually did live up to awesome reviews, didn't sell well and in turn, the developer went under.
If they can lock it at 30fps... ok. Im more concerned about the Dev saying 30fps, but then having it drop down into the mid/low 20s at times.
Nothing like watching movement at a smooth 60fps tho, but 30 isn't a deal breaker to me.
Was going to comment on the enemy character models, and some of the lighting effects that looked a bit dated...
but just realized this was originally a PSP game. It's looking really good. They did an impressive job with the remake.
This article definitely comes across as overly defensive of the title, not a single flaw noted. Also, I'm tired of seeing "the game took so many risks"... what the hell does this mean?
My only concern was amount of content: Glad that he got (a very respectable) 13 hours out of his play through - thats huge gap from the 5 hours quoted elsewhere.
I dont know what video was loaded earlier, but the one that is posted now is completely different. (not 2 guys talking about the game with a little footage)

Wow the xbox one footage is rough - The character models look last gen. Definitely needs some polish still
The fighting footage on the PS4 looks great though.
@above - Im not condemning the PS4. I said the exclusives right now continue to underwhelm.
Of the 5 games that Sinatra listed, I bought the first 3 and honestly was initially impressed but then disappointed by each. The Order just looks like another one to pass on for now. Hopefully Bloodborne will change that

So what, because the PS4 hasn't been out long, we can excuse some of the garbage titles that have come out?

This guy states that he doesn't respect the reviews that gave the game a 6.5/10 but instead will listen to the 1 review from GI that gave it a 78, and the only reasoning is because this is the first big PS exclusive of the year.

100% agree. Playstation exclusives USED to be about incredible characters/experiences/stories , etc.
Now its about graphic fidelity, and cinematic quality in all of their exclusives. Perhaps gamers are slightly to blame too (almost demanding things like 1080p/60fps over gameplay)
I love my PS4, but not for exclusives right now. Sony's lineup has really missed the mark on that one. Its a series of pretty but short/boring titles.

Wonder what his reasoning for the 8/10 was. Seems odd for the developer to come out and say he thinks they released a game that wasn't perfect (or at least 9/10).
Makes me think that he was hinting at something along the lines that dev time was too short, budget was too tight, etc (I guess all software dev concerns...)
