It will sell well (im definitely getting it), but I know I didn't buy my PS4 specifically for Bloodborne.
There have been plenty of amazing games, that aren't "system sellers". That said, this does appear to be shaping up to be one of the most complete exclusives of this generation so far.
Im really excited to play Bloodborne because of how much I loved Demon Souls and Dark Souls.
Im sure anyone who picks it up will love it, but if they are waiting to pick it up - I would definitely recommend at least Dark Souls first.
Wow the Bloodborne + $20 PSN code deal is tempting, although I thought I saw that the week of the 29th Target is doing a Buy One Get One half off deal as well...
Best game ever is too vague. There will never been a unanimous "best game". If we are talking best souls game, it definitely a fair question to ask but it may be a bit early imo.
Demon Souls and Dark Souls were games that kept people playing. Not only did they have the "wow this incredible" factor at launch, but the community was alive and well months/years after that.
If its on the internet, it must be true
Jesus does everything need to be a multiplat? If you want to enjoy Bloodborne, get a PS4. Attacking a company because they didn't port a game to other systems is pretty lame.
PC players should branch out from the "master race" every once and a while
and this is how Bloodborne 2 becomes an Xbox exclusive

How is that baseless at all? Developers can only work on so many titles at once. Just look at the frontpage of N4G, there is a clear push to create remasters or sequels. New IP's are so few and far between.
At the end of the day, its fine if people want to buy the same game for their PS3/360, PS4/Xbone and any future remasters, I personally think its a bad trend for the industry.
The point isn't the price at all. The point is that instead of getting Original, new games for the PS4 or Xbox One, we are getting remasters of older games. Id rather these developers focus their attention and resources on creating a great new game, not just upscaling an old one.
Im gonna wait to get the QHD Remaster on PS5
Definitely annoying but not a deal breaker for me. I wonder how long these screens were in Dark/Demon Souls?
If a patch can't shorten the time, I wonder if they can have a static screen of lore or something. Rather than just "Bloodborne"
Man they have this generation figured out. Why make new experiences when we can save money and just upscale old games but charge $60.
So far this generation is so incredibly sub par compared to the exlcusives from previous generations. Its young still, but the push for Remasters, and HD versions is stupid.
It makes me happy knowing someone, somewhere spent entirely too much time modeling a hamburger for this game. Looks good tho
@above - ah gotcha. Yeah that sucks, seems like a pretty easy fix too. Hope you get it worked out
Another planet. Cant help but feel like the game should feel more impressive in scale - im spending all my time running the same routes in a handful of areas
That sounds pretty terrible. Just curious - what issue is it you're having with valve that has taken so long to resolve?
A zombie game that actually felt tense/scary at times. I probably just suck at it, but for some reason the game seemed brutally hard to me. Maybe ill give it another try one of these days
I completely agree - skipping a generation is one thing, but its scary how many people buy the same game within months of each other just because of a resolution bump
I love how most of hate that COD gets, is about how the series never changes year to year.
And now we have a petition to remake a prior COD game. There really is no pleasing the masses
Digital makes way more sense for PC then console right now, so I think this is a smart choice. Most gaming PC's wont have the storage issues that console owners face, so might as well save the costs of manufacturing DVD's and turn those savings around to the customer. (wishful thinking)
