"Cripple" seems harsh. And man I hate these websites that list things across multiple pages
Im honestly surprised how well the Xbox One version holds it own. They did an awesome job.
A few scenes, specifically things at a distance sometimes appeared sharper on it than the PS4 version to me (I have always thought that jaggies can make certain things look sharper though). PS4 does seem to have the advantage in textures up close - nothing you would really ever notice outside of these comparisons.
Waiting for my damn PS4 copy in the mail right now - jus...
You will never know without a side by side comparison - gonna look great on Xbox One. Just enjoy the game!
Hell I own GTA 5 on PC, but even I don't think it should win GOTY. GOTY should be for a game that gives you a new experience, not just updated graphics. A remaster can't do that.
As much as I enjoyred Bloodborne, I have higher hopes for a few titles coming out later this year that will be the true GOTY. (Witcher 3 perhaps?)
Way more factors that weight in on deciding if its "better" or not. I don't even have a 4k rig, but games look significantly better on my 27inch monitor, at 1080p (with High/Ultra settings), than games on a 55" 1080p screen. (pixel density alone gives the better picture, and generally effects just look cleaner)
Its all subjective, but I did recently pickup GTA5 on PC, after playing the PS4 version and to me there is a day and night improvement and I imagine...
My preference is PS4, but that Xbox One deal is definitely the better option between the 2. WAY more value there
Great deal to stack up on those facebook game cards!

Funny how much hate the game gets - after the PC Beta weekend, I definitely want to give this a shot on a console.
And for the size of the game, 65GB doesn't seem like that much compared to other recent titles?
Right, and that was my point - some of the prior still shots allow you to nitpick little details, but seeing the full picture (in motion) really shows how impressive the graphics are for how big the game is
I always thought some* of the still shots of this game were "meh" at best, but seeing it in motion is really impressive.
The trees and foliage are incredible, and the lighting affects are cool as well.
IMO "Pay to Win" applies more to things that cannot be accomplished over time. (Like powerful weapons that can only be bought, etc)
In WoW, I think you can purchase an "Instant Level 90" token - I wouldn't really consider that a pay to win model though.
I can see how some would say its unfair, but if anything I think the people that pay for the extra XP are missing out on the game honestly. I actually enjoy leveling (grinding) a new c...
So anyone know if thats a free-roam map (like Skyrim) or do you have to select a location on the map to fast-travel to/smaller instanced areas?
Cant have it all - and splitscreen on PC seems to be the most "nice to have feature" rather than "absolute must have" out of the bunch.
Im sure people have setups that allow for splitscreen gaming on PC - but that must be the minority. I don't think I know anyone that does splitscreen gaming on PC.
Hell for splitscreen in general - its clear the public outcry is to have 1080p, 60fps games and anything less than that is "poorly opt...
Interesting combination of art styles. Good to see UE4 used in different ways though
Curious to see how this is actually implemented with the game, but not gonna lie - it sounds like a poor decision.
I personally love classes in these types of games
How about Demon Souls 2 instead?
I wish more games did this.
I always loved on PC how I could drop down shadow/lighting/particle effects in some games, to improve performance at higher resolution (my preference). I wonder why more console games don't give similar flexibility - maybe just really hard to implement?
Doesn't FF14 also allow a toggle between 720p and 1080p though? There must be some issues maintaining the 60fps in that case - perhaps Zenimax just wanted to lock it at 30 instead.
Won't argue that FF14 looks better, (I agree) but I think there are various "apples to oranges" aspects though. FF14 had instanced zones but I thought ESO was not?
14% is damn impressive after 2 years. Compared to the pile of other $60 games I beat once, and never touched again.
Its advertising aimed to hype up a game - happens everywhere. When is the last time you bought a burger that actually looked like what appeared on TV?
Don't see why that's any reason to really be disappointed anymore - or let alone rip the developers.
