"but Battlefield 3 already ran at 60 fps on PC."
I don't if I'm being a little anal about this, but it doesn't work like that on PC. The only way you can "lock" the game at 60 fps is making sure your pc can output the frames that fast and have V-Sync on. Otherwise the fps depends on the PCs power and graphical settings.
Words cannot express how dumb most of you guys are on this site.
It's like you really try hard to say the new Ryse image looks worse and come up with the most BS explanation. I mean, you guys either don't use common sense or are just extreme trolling (while looking dumb anyway).
Who am I kidding, 90% of the people on the internet are $%^holes anyway.
Doesn't matter, the geforce 7000 series was released in 2005, that still makes it 8 years old. I'm sure a 7800 could still run Crysis, at lower settings of course.
@ the Grim Reaper, MS and Sony aren't the only ones with controllers, you do know there's also logitech right? Their recent gamepads are a mix between the dualshock and xbox controller. There are also other vendors like Razer and I'm pretty sure the non-Sony/MS vendors will chip in on the SteamOS. Heck, the Logitech gamepads already work on Ubuntu.
SteamOS is not exclusive to the steam machines as you can install it on your PC. I don't think Valve is stupid en...
Dear Templar,
There are other controllers that a PC can use if you don't like the Valve one.
Sincerely,
The non-ignorant community.
Ummm, one with a 7950GT? I was able to run Crysis on med settings at 1280x1024 at low-med settings. Then again, it was a huge game, and it was just very demanding. I'm sure it wouldn't have a problem running those games you mentioned, if it was properly optimized of course.
"When you're comparing a $4000 PC version of the game running on ultra settings to a $500 or $400 console version running mostly and medium to high settings on a PC you'll always be disappointed."
Dammit, can you please stop exaggerating the price of a PC please?
You can most likely max out BF4, or be close to maxing it out if you design a Tower for $1000 today, that's almost twice the price of a freakin' console.

lol @ Meth.
Difference is, PC games/mods etc... don't need to be marketed heavily like console exclusives to be successful. You really don't know the magnitude of the PC gaming community.
1 million at retail genius. You're forgetting that there are also digital purchases, but distributors like Steam never release the amount of digital copies that are bought.
Also, a lot of games get pirated but still end up being successful. It just so happens that Rockstar made a crappy port.
I agree, it isn't his fault, but the reality is that some people will think otherwise because they're so sick and tired of hearing his name on other gaming videos.
Personally, I don't mind him all that much, but I get why people are annoyed with him. He basically created an immature fanbase that love the crap out of him, then they go to similar gaming videos and have to make comparisons of Felix to other people.
Basically, they'll say things like how Felix is God no other Gamer can match his greatness etc... Or they'll also say "This guy tries too hard to be PewDiePie" and "This guy sucks compared to PewDiePie...
Finally, I played this on consoles but I couldn't get into it because although it looked nice, it was kind of blurry and i didn't like its framerate for some reason. It resulted in hurting my eyes and putting me to sleep. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy.
I hope I can finally get back into it as it seems interesting.
I think it's just your deathadder, I've had no problems with mine whatsoever. Then again, I don't know what surface you're using it on, I'm using it on a mousepad.
That's hilarious, when I read the Title and intro, the first game that popped into my head was Castlevania: SOTN. Then what do you know, it was the first game in the article.
@ SoapShoes
Wow, what an ignorant comment, you've obviously never played the game.
Yes they've confirmed that it will be both a Sim and an Arcade, but you can change that in the settings. These devs are working with people who have actually played sim racers and people who drive/race cars as a hobby. They're trying their best to make it a simulation.
I can't believe some people here agreed to your misinformed post. Please do s...

It is a DLC add on, it doesn't matter if it's standalone.
- It's developed and published by the same company, Ubisoft.
- This is basically a mod to the original game Far Cry 3.
- It's not like they reworked their entire engine for this game, Ubisoft pretty much reskinned everything into a futuristic setting.
Besides, if you look at the previous Far Cry games, you'd know all three games are completely unre...
I'm sorry to say, but you don't seem to understand PC's in general. PC's can do much, much more than just playing games. PCs can be used for creating documents, photoshops, easier internet navigation, making videos, etc... etc...
As for playing games, you can also download emulators and play all the old games you used to play. You can download mods of games if you want to screw around or even create your own scenario if the developer gives you the tools. There...
