1. They forgot the Motherboard.
2. For the amount of power needed to run KZ:SF, I really don't think the APU will only cost $90, even the most expensive APU is considered low-end for gaming.
Ju, I totally agree with you that there will be ridiculous responses no matter what. I'm really not trying to bash the PS4, I just use it as an example because now it's the craze. When the Xbox720 gets announced, people will go bonkers over it as well and the cycle continues.
My point still stands though. I'm actually excited about the PS4 as much as the next guy. But seriously, how can you show your excitement when you can't have an intelligent conversation o...

I'm in no way stating everyone in this site are dumb. From what I can tell you certainly do have a solid understanding of computer architecture, but this is not the issue.
What annoys me is that a lot people on this site (and others) don't bother to educate themselves on the subject and instead spout complete nonsense. These people just want to hype the PS4, but they do it the wrong way.
Journalism is also partly to blame because...
I find it hilarious that people are freaking out over the 1.5 GB comment, they'll believe anything that devs say. It's like telling kids Santa Claus is coming.
Apparently everyone here are experts on how vRAM works. I'll admit, I'm not an expert on this stuff but I know damn well that it doesn't work like that, you cannot just simply say that KZ will improve drastically because there's 6.5GB to spare. There's more to it than this.

What are you guys on about? This machine is only $100 which is significantly cheaper than tablets that sport about the same hardware (nVidia Tegra 3). It can also be used as a dev kit to make android based games.
It should also be worth noting that this ISN'T, I repeat, ISN'T in competition with next-gen consoles. So it obviously targets a different audience.
This is just stupid journalism, trying to spark a war that should be non-existent.
Yep, there's a reason why you have 1 bubble.
"PC gamers cried like little girls when D3 was first revealed."
That's because when it was first revealed, it looked nothing like a diablo game, one example is that it looked too colorful and cartoony.
"they cried when it launched"
That's because at launch the game was broken, you required to be on the internet to play single player and the promised...
Lol, I don't understand the agrees you get. There's insecurity on all platforms. If Uncharted or God of War got ported to PC, you'd be crying as well.
Besides, Diablo 3 sucks. I wouldn't waste my time on this game.

Or perhaps it's because of the fact that so many games follow the same formula more or less, such as fps and action/adventure games. Think about it, we've played so many rpg's, fps's and a/a that it all becomes so familiar to us. All we have to do is pick up the controller, learn the functions and play, rinse and repeat. Most of the time we can predict what will happen in x scenario and then know how to proceed.
Take Demon Souls and Dark Souls for example. Dem...

He's explaining that watching a horror movie with a friend creates a different experience. A different experience in Co-op is what they're trying to accomplish.
Come on, you know that's not entirely true. You're average joe is not going to know what kind of processor and RAM is compatible with a certain motherboard, or finding the power consumption on full load to determine your PSU. Not only that but you have to make sure the parts you buy comes from a solid company. You don't want to buy a rocketfish PSU from Best Buy do you? There are so many different variations out there.
Building the PC itself doesn't take long,...

What you said there immediately made me think of this. lol

Just thought I'd throw this out there, but have you also considered the fact that women know they have the ability to exploit men with their bodies?
Despite of what you may think of this or the common use of women today. There are some out there who enjoy the thrill of watching men drool for them. Heck, there are women who know they can score a high paid job with the advantage of looking sexy. If it's worth it, they'll go for this opportunity.
I can assure you they're trying their best to make the cars feel like the real thing. The community is made up of a lot of people who race for a living/hobby or hardcore racing simulator fans.
When I say racing simulator, I don't mean GT5 (maybe, but a lot of them say it's not that special of a simulator) or Forza, something like the GTR series. SMS listens to this community and people who don't race as well to make the best possible experience.
Honestly? I preferred Diablo 1 because of its creepy atmosphere and awesome soundtrack. Diablo 2 was more like in between Diablo 1 and 3, but still enjoyable. Regarding Diablo 1 though, this isn't nostalgia talking here, it's the overall quality of the game. The voice acting was much better than 3 and so was the color palette. 3 looks too cartoony to me. Deckard Cain sounded like a badass Sean Connery in the first while he sounds like an old geezer in 3. It's things like these tha...
I honestly thought by the way people we're talking about the was as if the entire game sucked. I still ended up buying the game (although it was 50% on Origin :) ) because I wanted to finish the series. Overall, the game was blast to play, the voice acting was overall better than ME2 and just about every mission was a thrill to play.
Throughout the game, I was happy that my work from saving all of my members (who were also loyal) in ME2 really paid off. I was able to uni...
You know what keeled zee dinasows?!
ZEE ICE AGE!
Sorry couldn't resist :P
@ Pushagree
Ummm, no, Activision just saw that people liked COD4, then they took the opportunity and released 100 more CODs to make lots of cash. They don't care what the fans want, they just want their moneys!
Agreed with LevelHead. Also what some of you are forgetting is that even though his budget build isn't the best of the best it's still able to play games at decent settings. Don't forget that if you really want better performance, all you have to do is upgrade your CPU, GPU and perhaps PSU in a couple of years. If you really look around the upgrade will probably cost around $300. Eventually though you'll probably have to upgrade your motherboard to suit newer CPUs (mobos can b...
@ zebra
Maybe, but if desktop CPUs are anything to go by, more power = more cost. In this case, the CPU part of the chip probably isn't the most powerful.
However, we haven't considered the GPU part either, which could be equivalent to an HD7850 (don't quote me on this, I don't know how powerful it is). With the amount of power for the GPU part, I really don't think this APU will come cheap.
