Yeah, I don't know if it's the fault of either nVidia or DICE, but it's a known problem that BF3 will crash within 2 - 10 minutes of gameplay with a GTX 560.
Some people said that they flashed their video card to update the bios and it fixed the prob. However, I'm not experienced enough to attempt that as I could potentially brick my card. I hope either a patch or new drivers will fix this.

Just tried the beta drivers, nope they still haven't fixed the BF3 crash issue. Every other game works but not BF3.
Oh come on, ATI's drivers may not be as good as nVidia's, but they're far from being a hassle. Everyone has problems with cards of either company. Right now I've had more problems with my GTX 560 than I did with my HD5770.

It makes sense, I remember in the beginning of 2010 there was an article stating that ATI had sold 6 million DX11 cards in 3 months. (At the time it was just the 5770, 5830, 5850 and 5870 cards). We're not even counting all the DX10 cards people continue to buy and all the Nvidia cards. I can't imagine how many gaming cards are out there now.
From what I see, this game is built on the CryEngine 3. I'm not an expert in software development and such, so correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the reason Crysis couldn't work on consoles was because of the Cry2 engine?

I think it's dumb that people will not buy BF3 just because of a bloody beta.

I've heard nothing but very positive opinions from people who played the Caspian Border map. I watched a video of one guy playing the map and he said that it felt like a real battlefield game (not the bad company ones).

Same thing for me for what I liked better. However, while Mass Effect 2's soundtrack was pretty damn good, I found ME 1's soundtrack better. I just found that it suited the setting much better than the epic orchestra they put on for the second game.
