I find 8-bit graphics to be scarier. You can't completely make out the enemy (as well as the environment) so your imagination takes over. Remember the original AvP games? Granted, they weren't really 8-bit... but the point is still there. Somewhat. =/

If it's a game, and has good graphics, then it qualifies. The fact that it takes a supercomputer to run it doesn't disqualify the game as being the best looking one.
The only thing you could argue from that is that it's an unfair comparison, but that's exactly what people have said earlier. KZ should be compared with the console version of crysis2.

Show me another ps3 exclusive that is on the same level as UC3. It's the developper's hardwork that produces these results.
The credit is NaughtyDog's because they are really working with mostly outdated hardware (the cell is still a beast, but theres a lot of limitation from the other hardware)
That's not to say that it isn't amazing what the PS3 can squeeze out, it's just, the people squeezing it must have go...

Although, it is a game I enjoy more for the gameplay than visuals, but it still has scenes that look photorealistic due to the lightings and textures.

It's not simply a game looking good.
Resolution is also a big factor.
In my opinion, a game running at 720p and at 30fps, even if better looking, is less enjoyable than a game at 1080p+ running above 60fps. Ofcourse, this also depends on the game... some games are just fine at 30fps.
However, a game such as BC2 on a triple-monitor set-up isn't the same experience as the same game on a console. Despite both versions of the game having similar visuals. ...
Number of processors (or cores) doesn't really mean much.
It's the speed of those processors that matters more. Though, PS3's cores are quite fast so I guess your point still stands.
