Ain't no love for Fahrenheit.
... if only it didn't go ridiculously supernatural. =/
Anyways, I didn't know this counted as a new genre? Seems like a modern-day version of the old point-and-click adventure games except things aren't as linear.
Grim Fandago and Okami.
Makes me sad. =(
Should be around 10~12 hours judging from the interviews.
Would be interesting to see if the devs were truthful about that... and whether it's 10+ hours of quality instead of a diluted version of a 5 hour experience.
I bet if the platform-tag on each picture was switched around, you'd still have made the same post.
"Some people just dont have common sense."
If you think a five-point scale is in the same boat as a binary scale, then you're the one without common sense.
Especially since that logic can easily be applied to show that a 100-point scale is the same as a one-point scale.
Since fanboys happened. =/
TF2 had such a smart community... now it's all about the hats. =(
Here's an example of unscripted brain damage.
Unfortunately, all that extra work is pointless unless if you're aiming for the demographic with very high end hardware...
... which is a small group and not many people will be willing to make the investment in putting the extra effort into a game just to please that group.
Especially when you can get a very similar result with Dx with less the effort. The advantage of OpenGL in that field becomes trivial.
It's still great for cross-platform projects ...
Free codes? That's Schick.
/facepalm
As far as what the hardware can do,
OpenGL > DirectX
Next time, think twice before you try and contradict a major hardware manufacturer.
Not liking them is one thing, but assuming they're oblivious in their market is kinda pushing it.
Hopefully there's modification tools that allow for the creation of graphics-enhancing mods.
... even the ability to use custom gun models goes a long way.
... news for bargainers?
It's steam. They have at least two games on ridiculously-priced sale each week. This happens to be one of them.
I don't know how these make it to the front page. =/
...equality isn't fair. =(
Can pretty much fill the list with MGS games. MGS2 probably is highest in my mind, but they're all great.
Onimusha had a cool intro too... DungeonSiege I believe.
Along with DevilMayCry (but Bayonetta is a good replacement for that)
Black&White's AI was way beyond anything I'd ever seen back then.
I had some good times with my over-sized ape... along with that one stubborn atheist.
Be smarter with your purchases if you're so poor.
Gaming is a luxury, not a necessity... and judging by your criticism, you're better off watching a movie.
Must be lonely at the top.
I've played Battlefield2 on PC.
I'd takes MirrorsEdge over a military shooter with mechanics that have remained mostly unchanged for over a decade.
I can settle with BF3 but it wouldn't be my first pick though.
I'd go with Burnout for racing. =/
The elitism with racing sims is amusing. The level of racing physics in console racing sims is still quite a few clicks away from being truly realistic.
I bought a laptop with that card for $530.
It's more or less a desktop 5570... which is no where near a gaming card.
I'm not sure which games you've tried running with that thing though. If you bump things down to a 360's resolution, you can get better visuals/performance in most games.
