Many won't have the money when the next-gen arrives anyways.
What's your point?
The launch of a new console doesn't means an immediate shift. When the next-gen consoles launch, there'll still be game releases for the current-gen for an additional year or two.
What on earth is an "HD disk type"? O.o
Unless if you mean Hi-Def movies, which doesn't really have much to do with current gen gaming. =/
... Why would they need a lot of space for visuals?
Geometry and textures shouldn't eat up a lot of space. Usually it's the audio and pre-rendered cinematics that're the biggest space hogs.
My patience is also quite at the very limit.
I want it now. =(
The good news is that the 1.07 patch releases the same day... which might have mod tools. Doubt it. =(
... 7 hour campaign?
=.=
Hmm, what did you find frustrating?
If anything, my complaint is that everything was so linear and straightforward that it might as well have been a movie.
Only part that made me scratch my noggin was near the end when evil goliath shows up. I had no idea that I could shoot flares. =/
....So Rage & Brink win it then?
Good to see you know what you're talking about.
/s
By the way, your comment history is hilarious. =)
Depends on your standards.
Short, linear, action-packed single-player campaign.
32-player online with drones, vehicles and infantry.
I'm enjoying the MP (it has a few issues with snipers being overpowered) but I don't see myself giving it much love once Brink arrives.
Am I the only one who raises his arms in the air and shouts 'weeeeee' as I respawn?
X.x
Aye. I liked FarCry2 since it actually gave me options instead of holding my hand like it's some theme park adventure. Not many FPS games on consoles that let you do things your way.
Sadly, as others have pointed out, the travelling back and forth did eventually become tedious to the point that it eventually makes you go 'Fsck it. I'm out.'
The visual gap between Crysis2 and BC2 is of the same magnitude as the auditory gap between BC2 and Crysis2.
I'll be awaiting for all the marketing that they'll do calling this a renaissance for PC gaming and how the platform is finally getting games now to catch up with consoles.
>.>
needz moar scope bobble
That's exactly the point.
When the console fanboys bicker between themselves on who's platform has a game with a 5% higher pixel count, the PC fanboys butt in to show (whether on purpose or indirectly) that those arguments are pants-on-head retarded.
It's like two people arguing over who has a faster bicycle while they both own a car, not realizing that what they're arguing about is such minute differences that wouldn't even be noticeable ...
No-one Lives Forever could use another sequel.
... am I the only one who doesn't see much of a difference at all?
Not sure how people make their own conclusion seem like it's not a close call. O.o
Also, what's with the KZ background on that site? ... and the Crysis ad on the top. =/
Kinda makes it look dubious.
... the PC as well.
Down with unnecessary headgear. =(
"Im a huge gamer who loves jrpg and fighting games. Im not afraid to admit that i am a ps3fangirl. I like the ps3 and i think it the best console ever made."
Stop giving ps3fangirls a bad name.
