It's an undead fad.

It's a modern version of EnemyTerritory.
They just dropped the ET tag and added some parkour elements (which has more resemblance to AssassinsCreed)
Pfft amazon. >.>
Got it for $38 from D2D. Got the code, pre-loaded it on steam.
Alas, despite my fare being cheaper, we're both still in the same boat twiddling our thumbs. =/
Yea, he did.
The article is a response/counter to his comment.
I detect a sarchasm. =/
I think most game programmers would fall under the geek/nerd category.
=/
Categorize 'em however you want, but these guys have some interesting knowledge worth learning.
Note: I said it would have a minimal impact on visuals.
Having DLC on one disc doesn't have much to do with a game's visuals.
As for objects not appearing in game, that's a memmory issue.
The article is talking about a motion-blurring method. It is a visual technique and has nothing to do with storage space.
Most of the space is used for pre-recorded videos and uncompressed audio.
Having more space would have minimal impact on visuals as the limited memory acts as a bottleneck.
If a game uses GFWL, then you'll need GFWL no-matter where you get the game from.
DeadSpace series doesn't use GFWL (I'm not aware of any EA game that actually does) so no, you won't need GamesForWindows.
It's because americans are well-read and now about the problems facing the world.
I don't know if you've educated yourself on the state of the world yet, but overpopulation is a big problem.
Violence ends lives, which in turn frees up resources for the rest of us, so it is ok to promote.
Breasts and genitalia incite desires that lead to reproduction, which leads to more mouths that this planet has to feed.

Beadmak2!
Awesome.
I believe one of the preview footages is from the 360 version. You can look for that.
I had to succumb to GFWL when ArkhamAsylum was released.
Turns out you can keep an offline profile which avoids all the headaches. Or well, it avoided the headaches for me.
Is crytek making the 3rd one?
I thought the rights were sold to Ubisoft seeing as how FarCry2 was made by a completely different dev team.
Could care less what game wins awards.
I enjoyed the game. The developers got my money.
It getting an award isn't going to change anything.
There is that on the PC (which you'll have if you got the ps3 version)
It's kinda difficult to have development kits on consoles.
We don't know how BF3 will look on consoles.
... and no, it won't steal CoD's thunder since BF3 doesn't run at 60fps on consoles.
...Then again, recent CoD entries aren't giving a solid 60fps experience either. =/
EA more or less just throws an 'NFS' tag on all their racing games.
There's very little internal coherence in the franchise but the games themselves are pretty good.
Nothing from assassin's creed or Hitman.
Interesting....
" but the fact remains that Battlefield is the better game. "
... and the fact remains that that's an opinion.
While Acti milks their CoD franchise, EA has been milking DICE with BC2, MoH and now BF3.
They're both (Acti & EA) just as rotten in my books.
