Not really a copy, it's the same script all military shooters have.
There was a building collapsing in MW2... in Crysis2... and it goes on.
Could all be copying Mercenaries for all I care.
... You should've mentioned LPB2 and LA Noire over 'remastered' games, as bragging about being able to re-buy old games that are no longer compatible with your hardware isn't that smart a thing to do.
Seems to be missing games like Shogun2, RedOrchestra2, TrackMania2, and a hand full of indie games (Magicka, Terraria)... along with the continued evolution of existing valve games. =/
"Namco Bandi just made LA Noire"
I didn't know that. O.o
... So it becomes a point and click adventure game?
Neat.
Doom meets Jak3.
... the forums can always get a bit more love.
The bubble system isn't perfect, but it appears to work.
Starting out with 3 bubbles does suck though. The upvoting system is also kind of odd as most of my bubbles have come from utterly retarded posts as opposed to actually helpful ones. =/
You aren't everyone either.
You're having issues, the reviewer (and other reviewers) don't seem to be having those problems. They can't mark a game down for an issue they never had in the first place.
That's why he lashed at you. Not because you're having technical issues, but rather you called the review crap because you can't run the game.
Any time a PC game launches, the forums are full of complaints. That isn't spec...
... So far, their results have been massive mounds of cash... and they've spawned copy-cats.
Speaking of spawning... what on earth is Respawn working on?
... great, now I have a bear rampaging in my mind.
=/
I love TF2's way of balance... everything is so overpowered, it cancels out.
Though you're right about balance being boring. BlackOps suffered from that in the long run... and even Brink felt too mundane until you level up and start unlocking abilities that changes the tides.
Though by balance, I assume they'll also be toning down the jets and possibly not repeating a CarlGustav.
I just hope they have a smarter levelling system. Starting a...
I was quite confused untill I read a bit more attentively.
Somehow I was reading 'Steamworks' instead of 'Streamworks'.
Kind of odd how BlackOps has made it's way to pro-gaming. I suppose they'll be using some rule-set until mods come out?
... so it's like Mercenaries then.
Only the 2nd one... I think.
You could've been wittier if you said that nothing was better than call of duty.
i.e., you'd rather have nothing than have call of duty
Oh wells. Maybe you can use it next time you hate on it.
It's fun to play for a lot of people.
That's about it.
... Did anyone actually listen to the podcast? O.o
Yea, some of the names on the list were odd choices.
I was hoping to see Ken Levine on it. Though he's not much of a poster boy for his games in the same way that some other devs are, but he's had a hand in a lot of awesome games.
I don't think that's the side of realism they're focusing on.
This is more so realism on a visual level (i.e. the situations that the game tries to recreate and what it shows you) rather than a gameplay level.
Get better.
I know how you feel.
I just had to read a comment talking about a podcast nobody should have any interest in.
Meh, that's life. =/
