So you're happy with your personal information being guarded by mediocre security?
Here's what lulzsec is trying to do: http://pastebin.com/HZtH523...
As for fighting themselves, you currently have LulzSec wanting to go after the Sega hackers ( http://twitter.com/#!/LulzS... )
You can also google 'Anonymous vs LulzSec', they were having a cat fight earlier. ( 5482d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
The same reason people take joy in buying tabloids to read about the misery of the rich and famous.
What exactly can 'good men' do?
All I've seen is moaning and crying, which is exactly what the hackers want.
... and it seems that some hackers groups ARE denouncing this kind of stuff and are even trying to fight the hackers that are simply targeting companies for no reason.
Defending one group of hackers isn't the same as defending them all. They have different ideals and different goals.
Was a bit too short-lived.
I don't know why Valve keeps using the atrocious L4D-style mod system instead of the older TF2/CS type system where you can join a custom game, and any missing files would be auto-matically download.
Managing all those add-ons manually is too much of a hassle.
Has there been any good custom campaigns for AlienSwarm?
They're attacking everything.
Their gaming related escapades are mentioned on N4G, but their douchebaggery extends to other domains as well.
I think they just took images from random people.
There's an article somewhere on the net about it's backstory.
One has a valve on the head (open your mind?)
another has a valve on the eye (open your eyes?)
EDIT: Quick google search: http://forums.steampowered....
So they're making another free to play game? O.o
It sucks being a Half-Life fan.
You're stuck between waiting for Ep3 (or HL3?) and BlackMesa.
Both are in development limbo.
Oh well, at least there's tons of mods.
Well, BF3 and MW3 have their trade-offs.
BF3 has to deal with destruction, CoD has to deal with twice the frame-rate.
Oh well, I don't play BC2 for the visuals anyways. I play it for the audio.
KZ3 was never the king.
Kratos and Drake have been fighting over that throne.
Personally, I find LPB to have the best looking graphics in my eyes, but I'm a sucker for simplicity.
Shadows die off over long distances, and seeing enemies is often easier by decreasing general world detail than shadows.
I usually turn down shadows because in most games, low-res shadows are blurrier and look more natural than the sharp-edged hi-quality shadows.
Judging by the screenshots, seems like BF3 is one of the few games that actually gets shadow blurring right.
^ It's at 30fps?
Well, that kills any desire I had for the game.
Can you really blame people when you have DICE employees like Demize's twitter saying that the items are fully exclusive to the pre-order pack and that there is no other way to obtain them?
^ Their other option was removing the VIP codes and making the DLC purchasable for all players (instead of making it free to VIP ones)
Not all the maps were on the disc. The last map-pack contained 4 new maps (which added quite a bit of variety to the game) and a few of the earlier ones were also different (i.e. some modified data had to be downloaded, so it wasn't all on the disc)
In my books, VIP > having to pay for DLC.
Of course, making the...
I think they said they had 200k userdata from Bethesda, but wouldn't release it cause they liked the company.
Well, the CIA website is down. I'm guessing they DDoS attacked it (and it is what their twitter suggests)
^ ... but not as delicious as Justice.
Their point is lulz.
@Croash
It's hilarious for them... and I suppose for the people following them on twitter as well.
They're essentially trolls.
Only thing positive I'm seeing from them is that they're exposing how feeble internet security is.
Also, their twitter had this video. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Summarizes things ...
In that case, they better stop releasing so many exclusives too. =)
