He could be one of the cheapest bosses in any fighting game.
Maybe add the Gold Rush mode that was in Bad Company?
There was another that I didn't have that swapped the ducks and dogs, so you were only shooting the dogs
Yeah I played a lot when it was first released, but now I only play sparingly every week.
I don't really have much problem with the class balancing, other than the sniper pistol being so underpowered.
Would be pretty cool to patch in some additional modes of maps and make them unlocked via a certain kill count or flag capture count.
I had a hacked ROM of Duck Hunt a long time ago where you could shoot the dog. I loved it.
That would be really cool. Just drop night variants on all the included maps. It would really change the gameplay, especially with sniping across the maps and sneaking up on places.
It shouldn't be too hard to port some of the older maps over. I'd say another 2 maps would give much more replayability. Maybe another game mode other than Conquest too.
I think the current maps are fine. I don't play Air Superiority since I suck at flying, but I still enjoy playing the other 3 maps. I think a new game mode would go a long way to adding to the game. Adding a map might not be the best use of the developer's time since Bad Company 2 is coming out in the not too distant future.
There’s definitely some downside to digital distribution, just like you mentioned. It would be horrible to have your entire game library wiped out at the snap of a finger. For me, though, the iPhone and PSP Go show that it’s so easy to carry around one small device with everyone stored internally. No need to carry extra goods around.
Hopefully everyone who runs any kind of server starts running backups on a regular basis.
I re-bought FF7 on the PSN. I had sold or lost the game years ago and it was cheaper on the PSN than on disc. I did not re-buy MGS because I had no desire to play it.
What will be interesting is with the launch of Games on Demand on 360. Will people want to buy games they already own on disc just for the convenience factor of not needing a disc?
They should clearly explain the end time for the replacement plan a little bit better. Boned hard.
Good call on the XP ratings. If you play long enough, you’ll gain all the perks. I guess the developers wanted to open up everything for all players, no matter the skill level.
Every little bit helps, and we would be honored if any of you could donate to sponsor us in the Relay for Life!
Definitely agreed. Bubbles for you. If the core game is the single player campaign, make that work flawlessly before putting the effort into multiplayer, which is essentially another bullet point on the back of the box.
Good discussion on both sides, from shoe-horning multiplayer into games that don't need it, to missing the boat by not including co-op in some games where it would have been a huge benefit.
Definitely. In all the games 2K showed off at their recent media event (including Bioshock 2), Mafia 2 was my favorite and what impressed me the most.
Nice wrap up of all this week's MMO activities.
I'm betting at Bad Company 2 ships, we'll see 2143. Given the success of 1943, there's no reason for them not to make another downloadable title in the Battlefield universe.
