I was put off by the games graphics when it was first unvieled but have grown to appreciate it. I'm hoping for a game that sort of combines the Ocarina of Time, and Wind Waker w/ flying mechanics.
I agree completely with Ubisoft's vision. Graphics will always get better but what about the AI (gameplay)? AI is dumb and always has been. The multiplayer aspect of any shooter draws people in because real players are simply better and less predicatable than any computer AI.
This game might be more fun with Kinect. You would also likely get a workout. I wish Infinity Blade didn't have so much grind. It takes too long to acquire good weapons and max them out. If they made a Kinect version that didn't require countless hours to buy everything and level up, I'd be interested.
It would be just as boring on Vita as on the iPhone/iPad. I had fun with the game for a couple hours but it lacks in the gameplay department. It's basically a fighting game on rails. It lacks in story and exploration as well. There is no reason to grind away countless hours to "beat" this game.
After playing the game I can agree with the score. There is a lot of fun that can be had with this game although it's dragged down by a few things- namely the story and redundancy of the campaign. The story is horribly cliche and couldn't be more ridiculous. It makes absolutely little sense and could have been penned by a 10 year old. This leads to a game in which the player cares little about the protagonist and any immersion is lost. Games need better story telling and this game is ...
Stating your opinion as fact makes you right? I won't argue about the benefits of 60 fps versus 30, however your being quite biased.
I mostly agree with your assessment although I had to point out that PS Suite is not for iOS but Android.

Anyone know if the PS3 version of Re4 will include Move support? That might be worth a (re)buy for me. Glad they're rereleasing Code Veronica- it was awesome on the Dreamcast.
I was thinking of an an excuse for worse graphics in the 3DS version but can't think of good one. Perhaps half the reason is shotty porting and the other (and more probable) a space issue with the size of the 3DS carts. Either way I find little reason to buy this version for $40 when I can get the HD upgraded three game compilation with trophies/achievements for the same price.
I guess I'll try for a refund then :-) Thanks for the info and good advice.
As a console only gamer, I'm not sure if I will get this for PS3/360 or Wii U. If the Wii U has better specs (and therefore better graphics) maybe I'll get it for that. I'll also be able to take my game to the bathroom for uninterrupted gameplay :-)
Glad I'm not the only one that appreciated Resistance 1. The first one imo was excellent. The story was compelling, the atmosphere spot on (considering the world was ending), you had access to more than 2 weapons, etc, etc. I didn't like the sequel one bit. Hopefully Resistance 3 brings back the magic of the first one and I can forget R2 ever happened.
Gears 3 should sell at least 6 million. After playing the beta and putting more time into that than most retail games I own, they can count +1 sale. It was solid and most importantly lag free and fun. If Gears 3 didn't have a campaign, I would buy it full price. It's the highest compliment I can give considering I rarely play online multiplayer.
Edit: Guess my numbers were wrong. Cry me a river.
Oftentimes its a sign the game is good. If the developers put a good amount of effort in a limited spec machine, it shows commitment to quality. I wouldn't write the 3DS off as a graphical powerhouse though. There are plenty of great looking games coming out. At least we know its capable of PS2/Gamecube quality graphics. I'm happy with that for a handheld.
I have a good feeling the 3DS will have a pretty good game selection in 6 months to a years time. Glad I already have one though- Zelda Oot comes out today :-)
Only if your mind is in the gutter (at the moment) I suppose. The innuendo went over my head :-p Perhaps I'm just tired or have played too many "grindy" type games haha.
I'm still bitter the game shot up in price from a downloadable game to a full retail. I'll wait for a few price drops before I play it I suppose :-( Until then, hopefully I can play a demo.
Precisely why I won't play this game with my fiancee in the same room.
I made it my goal to play the game and complete it. Thank you $2 Redbox video game rentals...I can try the game out for myself and see just how bad it is :-)
I reserved the PS3 version to pick up tomorrow. I heard the 360 version was nigh unplayable. Kind of unfortunate as I have Duke Nukem 3D on xbla.
If games are made more intuitive and accessible, how is this a bad thing? You can make a game as complex as you want but that doesn't mean its good. The best games are those that anyone is able to play immidiately AND difficult/chanllenging to master.
Skyrim serves as an example of games being dumbed down? I spent countless hours trying to balance my characters skill points, and managing my inventory- time better spent actually playing the game. The levelng up system fo...
