Game changer. Dual analog sticks and digital downloads available same day as retail made me a believer, not to mention the gorgeous games.
While a would support a multi-format release of Alan Wake it perhaps isn't so likely as the developers have probably moved on to other projects. I predict Alan Wake 2 on next gen consoles provided exclusivity isn't secured.

Playing with Vita and then coming back to the 3DS is jarring. I want a 3DSXL. The 5" screen on the Vita is gorgeous and might have set a new standard for handhelds (at least for me). The size doesn't bother me at all as I've never carried a DS or PSP in my pocket for fear of damaging it. I'm still deciding on the best case to buy. Suggestions?

My opinion of this game wasn't very good initially, however everything except the dance segment seems pretty decent. While this game isn't Star Wars: Battlefield, and is a Kinect game, that doesn't mean it "can't" be fun. MS restricting skype to only windows phone or windows pc would be a stupid move. Thats akin to google only allowing youtube on Android phones and chrome browser. I wouldn't worry too much.

Exactly what I was thinking :-) I love playing shooters with Move. Killzone 3 implemented Move controls the best Imo. On an unrelated note, I'm looking forward to Sorcery and Move controls patched into Oddworld strangers wrath.

Task manager works the same as ever- how is it more complicated? Just curious. Im not going to pretend that I know more than you on this subject, however for my purposes the OS works great. With that said, its a preview. Its not even a beta just yet. im sure power users will be catered to as well once things further progress. Wrong. I have the developer preview on my laptop and desktop- Steam is pinned on my start menu along with OnLive, Spotify, Word, etc. I access it from the tile with one click. How again is Steam obscured? Everything I need is right in front of me as soon as I log in. Windows 8 also is more efficient and faster booting than Windows 7. It will run on a lowly netbook.

Having played the demo, I was neither impressed nor disapointed by the graphics. They're functional. At times the jaggies are noticible however for the most part your too busy playing the game to care. The cut scenes were nice. Otherwise, it looks exactly like MGS3 when you turn the 3D effect off. The higher you turn the 3D on, the worse the jaggies. I ended up playing the demo with 3D off for the most part because the jaggies are so much more noticible. Its the same reason I turned off 3...
I'm not going to lie, I'm buying this game partly for the trophies. Ninja Gaiden Sigma sadly came out before trophies were implemented- now I can get the satisfaction of earning them :-p
The PC version is getting all the content thats is being added to the 360 version for free. I don't think that the 360 or PC versions will be left out if a PS3 port come out at some point.
If a PS3 version come out, good for PS3 only gamers.
Either way, I'm buying a version of The Witcher 2- whether 360, PC, or PS3. Got to support game development in my mother country :-)

Thats funny- just watched Real Steel. Bing was advertised as well as "Xbox 720." It could have been a joke or perhaps its a confusing placeholder for a proper name.
I didn't know there would be changes to the Vita version. Anyone know why they're re-recording?
I'm hoping that Sony allows the publication of a multitude of non-gaming apps. A third party web browser would solve any problems with the current Vita browser.
If there is a Kindle app released I will sell my Kindle Fire in a heart beat for a Vita.
