I was thinking about buying the Move charging dock and/or the sharpshooter. Anyone prefer the sharpshooter?
Agreed. The video you have linked to on your site looks fantastic. I was worried about the graphics until I saw the game in motion. It definately looks a lot better than Monster Hunter 3rd and on par or better compared to the Wii version.
I believe Gamestop has the right idea in bundling a dedicated controller and preloaded games with their tablet offering. I wonder if their streaming service will be on par with onlive? It will be pretty difficult to compete with their pricing structure. All in all, I'm not surprised Gamestop went this route.
@ gamerz
Thanks, I'll give it try :-) I really want to play the new Donkey Kong and Zelda Skyward Sword :-)
I'm stuck on that part actually. For whatever reason, I can't get that damned brand :-( I'm almost 100% certain my tendeny was pure white. It might be a glitch. I couldn't get it through my first playthrough nor my playthrough +. I'm contemplating not finishing the grind to platinum because I can't get that one weapon... I'm glad there isn't a pure white/black world tendency in Dark Souls.
I bought Resistance 3 with the hope Move support would be more than an afterthought... Perhaps that's a strong word, however support for Move must have been added later in dev. For that reason I'm glad I haven't played it yet- I'll wait till the next patch. Playing Killzone 3 with Move was amazing so I hope I to have a similar experience someday with R3.
I agree...it was a huge oversight and misjudgment on Nintendo's part. I'm also pissed I paid $250 to be a beta tester.
I probably won't sell my 3DS as there are a number of games for it I'm anticipating, however I'm very bitter towards Nintendo at the moment. I have a broken Wii that's hardly been played in the 4 years that I've had it and now I have to shell out additional money on top of $250. The attachment probably won't be required althoug...
That would be the smart thing to do. Hopefully Capcom stops releasing incremental upgrades to it's franchises, and costume dlc...one can hope.
I think the PC comes out on top once you factor in the faster framerate, better textures, anti-aliasing, resolution, etc. However- I don't have a PC that can handle much more than Half-Life 2 nor do I like gaming on PC. Win for everyone that wanted to play Crysis but couldn't and/or those that prefer gaming on consoles.
The most amazing thing is that the game will release for $20. Not bad! :-)
I don't think I can defend Nintendo anymore. Everything about the 3DS regarding the software and hardware updates has made me feel like a beta tester that paid $250 for the privlege.
I bought one knowing that the software was half-baked and functionality would be added. I knew I wouldn't be able to access the e-store. I paid my early adopter fee. I was even pleased with Nintendo's ambassador program.
I wouldn't be upset if Nintendo didn...
Anyone know if there's Move support? Too bad on there not being a platinum trophy. At least its 50% off.
I don't understand what people are so up in arms about. You get ALL the DLC for a discount if you pay up front. What's so hard to understand about that? Or, you can buy separate map packs (or modes)and pay a premium. Why is choice always misunderstood? If you don't want it, don't buy it. If Call of Duty Elite isn't a success, Activision won't continue it. There's no need to call people names or "wish" for a game to fail or anything like that.
I hope the next gen consoles have a modular design in which your able to swap out older parts for newer parts (CPU/GPU). All the software could be made forward compatible. Upgradable parts could make games look better as they become available.
I dunno...its just a little wierd.
The demo was a lot of fun, although I'm worried it won't be a very long game to complete. Hopefully I'm wrong. Bundling Fruit Ninja Kinect with the game is a smart move as well.
Comments like this and below reinforce the stereotype that PC gamers are grade A douches.
I'm glad that console gamers have mostly put aside their fanboyism to fight the growing PC elitism evident on almost every article discussing graphics.
Whatever version of Skyrim you end up buying, you'll get more than your monies worth. End of debate.

Bethesda and id Software are both owned by ZeniMax Media.
Bethesda is simply serving as the publisher for its brother/sister company id.
So, this is "kind of" related to the post:
Is anyone else having problems with PS Move NOT registering in Resistance 3? I'm never prompted to calibrate the controller and can't get past the start button prompt before the menu. I used a Dualshock 3 controller to get to the menu and into matchmaking, however the Move controller is still unresponsive. My PSeye also has the red and blue LEDs on- not sure if thats a problem or if something is glitching. I loade...
The demo turned me off this game. The graphics are horrible, the explosive barrels next to every other enemy are a regression in game design and the controls are awful. Rather than release a subpar game during the holiday season, perhaps this game should be in the oven for another year...
Is it just me or does it make little sense to release HD collections of old games in the fall?
I have Gears 3 purchased already. What is the general consensus on Resistance 3? I loved the first one and hated the 2nd. Move controls have me interested...I suppose I should try the PS+ beta.
Imagine if the difference between console versions were as large as it is for PC versus console. If that were the case, perhaps it would be worth getting excited about one version over another. As it stands the graphics between 360 and PS3 aren't significant enough to even matter.
Edit: With that said, I'll more than likely buy it for PS3 as its the lead console platform. Every difference counts when you own both (consoles) I suppose :-p I wish B3 had Move support t...
