If you want to make more money, don't go to gamestop at all costs. Sell your game on half.com and make a lot more money. Sorry if my endorsement sounds like an advertisement but I make back at least 50% of the initial price of the game. I feel you on the selling games part...its hard to let go of some of them. Might want to hold onto GTAIV.
Please don't hate but I can say the same thing about Resistance 2. I felt like Sgt Hale was 25lbs and on the moon. It other words, way too arcadey. Can't wait for Killzone 2 and hope realism is a new priority in FP shooters.
@ above. I don't think Guerrilla would lie, so I think its a slip up. If it is 64...sweet.
Just signed up as well. Free is good. I hope that my system can run it. I'm not a typical PC gamer as you might have guessed...:-p
Every time there is an update I download it in anticipation, is that wrong? No. There is nothing wrong with updates that improve a system and add cool new features. Remember the trophy update. Best update ever. It is forward thinking that the operating system builds on itself with every firmware upgrade.
Bioware is owned by EA but they are largely independent within the company. Otherwise you wouldn't have the founders of Bioware still working at the studio, would you? Also, the developers original intentions were to keep the franchise on the PC and 360. Otherwise, the ability to transfer characters from one version to the next wouldn't exist and be a priority. I assume that because Mass Effect did not arrive on the PS3 (like Bioshock, after exclusivity ended) there is a much smaller chance o...
EA does not own Valve nor the IP license of Left 4 Dead. EA's logo isn't even on the Left 4 Dead box of the 360 version.
Pretty funny, though I think the Bill and Louis version is even better.

I was thinking the same thing, lol. I thought 2008 was expensive...09 should be even more so. Good list regardless. Might have to get more picky about what games I buy.
I'm not a gung ho racing fan so I'm not sure if it matters "too" much to me. Kudos to GT5. A more fair comparison would be Forza 3 versus GT5. We will see I guess...
I wish n4g.com had polls. In the case of Second Life, I'd like to know how many of is visit the online world. My guess is not many as its not a game in the traditional sense.
However, I did see this same interview a few days ago on psu.com (I think)
Regardless, a good article and worth a second read through.
Personally, I'm waiting for the PSP2. I feel that it will be much more integrated with the PS3 and its successor. Looking forward to more inter-connectivity with the PS3 in the near future.
Hopefully the patch fixes things. I have been holding off playing it online since I started noticing all the glitching. It wasn't obvious at first but gradually you start to wonder why someone insta-killed you with the shotgun through a wall :-p
Its unfortunate that many online games ship without being "done".
If the developers don't like it, jump ship to PSN and WiiWare. If the process is as bad as they say, they should boycott Arcade. It seems that every time a file size limit was in place...it was broken by a big name game. Its unfortunate that N+ didn't have the sort of leverage SSFHDII had to increase the size limit. Perhaps the restrictions will start to loosen when Doku is released...maybe.
Do what I did. Purchase a new Jasper 360 for $200 and swap the hard drive. As an added security I'm installing all of my games to the hard drive (120 GB); figure that I "can't" get a disc read error if I only use it to install games. Less taxing on the hardware, less heat and less electricity use...also not as loud (although my new 360 has a BenQ DVD drive thats as quiet as a kitten).
Edit: rhood022- if the online repair form is showing $100 try calling customer support. ...
I will say that Tomb Raider never appealed to me. She is hot and all but also not real and nothing worth getting excited about. The series is old and needs to take a break. Uncharted on the other does everything Tomb Raider wishes it could do. I'm surprised Tomb Raider didn't borrow elements from Uncharted in the most recent game.
I don't think they're going to screw it up. Considering the fact that the developers didn't have a publisher until recently, I would imagine they had quite a bit of freedom to craft the game they wanted to make. Conduit seems to be very much a game made with passion. The devs could have just as easily made a game on PS3/360. They seem committed to making a game that looks great on the Wii. The control scheme alone should be worth it. As a side note I'm looking forward to Wii-makes of Metroid ...
I was recently playing Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii and have to say that even setting the resolution to 480 p makes a huge difference. Games don't have to be HD to be enjoyable, however the extra resolution adds to the immersion.
I agree, Wipeout HD looks amazinging in 1080 p.
I'm anticipating good scores as well. Official US Playstation Magazine game it a 10/10. The UK version gave it 9/10. I wondered if the quote meant that it was between the two ranges. Either way a good score.
