Anyone know what the limit is on SD card size? I assume the Wii doesn't support SDHC cards, maybe it will after the update.
Piracy is anything but good for anyone but selfish people with no morals. The Pirate Bay isn't just blatant piracy but a spit in the face to every developer that created a game worth a d@mn. You can say that freedom of speech would be obstructed with the website banned/removed, however I see differently. The most sought after files are not legal but illegal. My argument would be completely different if this were inversely true. Also, Freedom is different from free choice. With the former you ...
The second factor has much to do with Apple being a single hardware vender with a niche market. Dell, Asus, Sony, HP, and Toshiba all say hi. I see a lot of advertising for Dell, HP and Sony; more than Apple as a whole.
Well said Chris, feel the same way. I'm not multi-racial but have a gay uncle and am an accepting person. Gaming is universal and what brings us together. I don't understand why we need to segment ourselves beyond "Hardcore" and "Casual" to be honest. Granted the gaming culture is quite diverse, we should be more united that not. If we only cared about games, there wouldn't be the horrible fanboy wars as we know them.
The article is bunk on account that many ...
lol, I thought about doing that. I suppose that since its Gamestop I would feel less bad. A part of me doesn't want to play the game until its out; call me a purist I guess. It probably wouldn't hurt to get in some multiplayer so I'm not the biggest noob online.
I pre-ordered at Best Buy. Had some reward zone cash. Best Buy pre-orders come with a free theme, yay. Gamestop by far has the best deal.
The nearest GameCrazy for me is 25 miles away. Wish that shirt was black.
Funny how these editorials echo your own sentiment. Its almost like journalists pick up a few ideas from n4g :-p
On topic: Its hard to play RE5 and not wish Dead Space controls. Sad that Dead Space didn't sell as well as it should have.
Top 2:
1. Firefox
2. Open Office
I agree with both points (5/5.1) as well. The controls take a little time to get used to but are basically RE4 controls, Game of the Year a few years ago. Dead Space is an excellent shooter (and a part of me wants the exact controls in RE5) however RE5 wouldn't be RE5. If they add limited walk and shoot, I'm more than happy.
Perhaps we might see a better game before the current cycle is over, however it will be difficult for other devs to compete with the 60 million budget of Killzone 2.
Also, if your a fan of Resident Evil 4, you shouldn't have a "huge" problem with the controls. I'm thinking they will add the option to walk and shoot just because of the feedback from the demo. The demo has been out for over a month in Japan, it can only get better.
I wouldn't get too down on this game precisely because it is not done yet. For most games, its a gamble to release a beta, period (cough...Too Human...cough). It is commendable that Capcom even gave us a demo. As for the people that don't like it...its different, that's for sure. If you liked Resident Evil 4, you can have the same controls. If you don't like the controls, there are 3 different configurations. The biggest gripe is that you can't move while you aim; maybe it will change. Capcom...
Agreed, another whine and complain article. I wish the title was different; typical flamebait. The article itself names PC, 360 & PS3 as being a DLC problem. Gears of War 2 is the most outrageous...I agree, although until we start boycotting the content, there will be more cheap DLC. If dev/pubs supported their games with free DLC for a few months, it might be worth actually putting down money for DLC in the future. Burnout Paradise is the best example I can think of. I bought the game fo...
I think rapists should be shot dead on the spot (if proven guilty in a court of law).
With that said, the father is partly to blame for trusting a complete stranger.
Since when did Namco Bandai develop and not publish its own games? Poor judgment on their part regarding the trophies...
Me too :-) Asking a vague question of whether fans of RTS and Halo care is not a very good question. The original halo (before it was even alpha) was an RTS. Very interested if the game expands the already considerable Halo lore. Bring on the Halo games I say; the universe is so rich you could make many more. Halo doesn't have to be about Master Chief as Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST are perfect examples.
Just think...one day these TV's will be affordable :-) Hopefully sooner than later.
I'm waiting for all three sets of DLC before I splurge. Maybe there will be a value 3 pack? Glad the DLC is greater than 3 hours for a number of people. I know I will spend a substantial amount of time with the new content once I get it. I take a 50 hour game Oblivion/Fallout 3 and make it 100 to 150 hours easy...:-p
I also think I'll rent it. I'm not familiar with the anime so I can't say I'd buy it for the fan service. Based on the review, I wish the devs took some more time to polish the game. The logic follows that if a game is quality...usually the sales follow. In my opinion, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (PS3) is still the anime to game cross-over to beat.
So would I dude. Even still, I want the best God of War III possible. If it is the last game in the series they need to make it better than best. Everyone knows it will be awesome, just saying.
@ above, Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder though if the other 3 maps releasing with Halo 3: ODST will be available on the marketplace following the games release. I plan on buying the game regardless. It's always frustrating when friends don't have the newest maps :-p Halo 3 still has the multiplayer to beat in my opinion. Started playing it again after a long hiatus; still fresh.
