This is on my to buy list. I like new types of games. Controlling each brother with each individual stick sounds tricky but fun.

Xbox and Playstation have copied each other since the beginning of (now) last Gen. I would be very surprised if Sony didn't adopt the same stance on used games.

Look on the bright side- the Xbox DRM measures shouldn't be any less restrictive than Steam. Also you can still take games over to your friends. I'm not overly worried with DRM on either console. People are scared of change.

Not to burst your bubble, but revenue doesn't equal profit. Sony is only starting to get their finances in order after billions in net losses. If you can't admit to this you might as well put a disclaimer under every commit stating "I'm a huge fanboy." I like Sony and want/need a PS4 but just stop... Leaving out information is too convenient. Sony needs PS4 to be a hit to stay solvent as a company. I hope they succeed.

I don't think anyone should write off Microsoft until they actually reveal it. PS4 is everything I want in a console. Sony's focus is games, pure and simple.

I'm console/platform agonistic so I hope Microsoft has a similar focus. If Kinect 2.0 makes gaming better, I'll welcome it with open arms. To be honest the most fun I had with Kinect was with Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim and voice commands. The voice recognition commands augmented the experience for me. The ...

I hope Rainbow Moon wins best indie game on PSN for 2012 so I can buy it on the cheap. I've wanted to get it since it came out but was waiting for a Vita version.

With that said, I'm looking for a handheld version of the sequel game :-)

N4G doesn't hate Nintendo. You will find bias everywhere and anytime you decide to look for it. Only the fanboys of competing platforms hate Nintendo. N4G as a whole loves Nintendo because Nintendo along with the other big players in gaming are what keep our hobby alive. Also, competition is good regardless of whether you game on Nintendo hardware or not.

I've spent hundreds of dollars on PSN and got it. I've also been a PlayStation Plus member since its introduction. Maybe its recent purchase history or completely random. Food for thought.

@evoexomike- its so cool to hate on iterative franchises! (sarcasm)

I've played through the first Dead Space at least 6 times on Xbox and PS3-I got all the achievements and trophies. Each time I played it, it was less scary.

Once you understand the underlying game mechanics, the game loses its "scary" factor. Dead Space 2 was scary the first couple of times but lost its edge sooner. That's how it goes with horror movies/games unfortunately- ...

I game on mobile on occation and roll my eyes at the ridiculous price of 99 cents most games sell at. For a quality, lenghty experience that price point isnt sustainable. Its upsetting that journalists perpetuate the belief that $2.99 is expensive.

My exact thoughts on MOGA and everything that came before. Not enough games and not well optimized.

I agree mostly. I think the strength of the console is mostly untapped considering the strengths and weaknesses found by that wii hacker dude. The architecture is different- the ports that have come out, haven't been optimized experiences. In a year or two we should see some much better looking games. The Wii U won't be the most powerful next gen experience in a year however its controller will hopefully give fans an experience that matches or surpasses the competition. I will more th...

I'm not horribly impressed with the battery life however for my purposes I can get enough life out of it. If I outlast the battery, I'm not upset I have to play with a plug in the wall. The benefits of the controller is worth the hassle imo.

I love my Wii U however the article didn't get into anything the most clueless person in the world wouldn't have already known or needed to know (that visits n4g).

So far the Wii U has been pretty awesome for me. I have a few games for it- Trine 2, Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. I want to get Zombie U- it seems to be the most innovative 3rd party game release so far. With that said, playing on the Wii U is definitively the way to go if your significant other ...

I seems the disagree trolls don't like people that suggest halo 2 remake. Not strange at all...

I didn't read your comment before I commented- essentially said the same thing haha. I wouldn't mind Halo Wars 2 with the Forerunners mixed in nor Halo 2 rework. Halo 2 released as an DLC add on would be acceptable.

I agree. I think we could possibly see an HD re-relese of Halo 2 for Xbox 360 and Xbox Next/Infinity/8. That would make the most sense for me. Releasing Halo 5 would fragment the Halo community and playerbase. People still play Halo 3...:-p

I own the MOGA and have mixed feelings about it. Here's my semi review:

The controller itself is semi-decent. I would say the feel of it is overall cramped and the sliders on it are responsive but kind of rigid. Think of it akin to the 3DS sliders except not as good. The buttons are satisfyingly "clicky" and responsive. The triggers are nice although they are NOT analog. The response time is pretty good. The PS Vita and 3DS (OG and XL) are definitely more comfor...

I'd like to add that Nintendo is a game centric company that still is reluctant to add persistent voice chat, and voice messages. I believe the voice chat issue with PS3 has more to do with a limitation of RAM. Sony would have added it if they were able. Nintendo on the other hand ignores almost of the advances in social online connectivity. Granted in still getting a Wii U however its unfortunate all the same.

I would definitely buy it for my Vita. I'm hoping that with Playstation Mobile we'll see more top tier phone games like GTA 3, Nova 3, Rayman Jungle Run etc and soon. Funny thing is I bought Vice City off Steam for $2.50 just before it was announced for mobile :-P Either way I want a portable version so ill more than likely buy it for my Nexus 7.
