Aside from being off topic, your logic is faulty. The PC version will ship on as many discs as the 360 version. If getting up every 3-4 hours to swap discs is too hard for you, you need a different hobby. Obviously running (sarcasm).
On topic: I'm pretty excited for this game. 30 fps should make the shooting much better, and create a more engaging experience overall. Despite the problems of ME1, I never had much to complain about. Guess I'm not much of a nitpicker.
I read the article hours before it hit n4g and KNEW it would put SDF into a fury. Why is everyone so defensive and hostile to a price drop? Price drops are FOR the consumer. How is the consumer worse off in any way? This is good news for anyone that wanted a 360 with more storage and reliability (Jasper...cough). If the 360 and PS3 didn't try to out compete one another on price, our consoles would be more expensive. Competition is good people. Stop being cheer leaders!
If PSP 2 is literally coming out in 4-5 years I might be inclined to buy a Go. I'm worried about buying a PSP Go and it being replaced by #2 in a year or 2.
I'm most impressed that Hero of Sparta is one of the PSP "mini" games.
Why release 2 SKU's? A larger hard drive alone isn't enough incentive to get a 250 GB. If there is a game pack in and wireless N, I'm all over it.
Overall, I really like the look of the PS3 Slim. The matte finish took a minute to get used to, but already I want to sell my PS3 fat.
The game wasn't developed by id...take that for what its worth. The next true id game is RAGE.

The reason why they are taking out the HD cables is in order to drop the price of the Elite to $300. 360 is getting a price cut in order to compete with the PS3 Slim.
Not in yet. I responded to the email invite 3 days after it was sent. Hope I get in. Also, the limited hours of play is very smart of Zipper. They are trying to imitate peak hours and crush lag before the game releases.
I think everyone is over thinking the "GOTY" re branding. Its simply a way to sell more copies. Its debatable which game is truly GOTY however any game that sells more than 3 million is more likely to have one. In the case of GeOW 2, GOTY edition simply means: "Every Single Map Pack For Free Edition."
Personally, I think that Indie games would be more appealing if they had achievements. If arcade games are limited to 200, indie games could have 50-100. Achievements don't make a game however it could further emphasize game quality and value.

I doubt it. Good speculation though. In the past, Microsoft has jacked up the price way beyond what anyone would pay (read: astronomical)if they made an error. They only do this when content is added to the marketplace before its due. I imagine its easier to raise the price as a deterrent than remove the listing from Live.
