Alyx doesn't even look like Alyx anymore plus they uglified her. The appeal of the original Alyx seems lost on the creators. I seem to remember her being multiracial...not white. This is not to say that her appeal was in being multiracial but being unique. Why do all females in video games have to be "Anglo-ized." This is coming from a white gamer also.

Perhaps I'm biased as the Zune HD is my first PMP, but its simply a sight to behold (and control). The screen alone is worth it. The UI is gorgeous and intuitive. Its very unique and very different from the iPod Touch. I would play around with a Zune HD (Best Buy?) before making a purchase and/or read a review or two. Here's a link to one:

Wait...so people are complaining about free apps because of a 6 second Hyundai advertisement?
I have 9 apps for free. Thanks Microsoft :-)
"Meh, Zune doesn't really count as a gaming handheld" Kind of an ignorant statement. Technically any average cell phone is a gaming handheld. You play games...in your hand. See?
I have 7 games on my new Zune HD. I'm surprised no one has said a word about them. They're all free. They include:
Texas Hold'em
Sudoku
Space Battle 2
Shell Game...of the Future
Hexic
Goo Splat
and Chess
Also, there is an additional 2...
Thats the nature of XBL and PSN I'm afraid. Both encourage paid content. I'm not sure why everyone thinks everything should be free for the heck of it. Mod creators have lives just like you and I. Why not "thank" them for quality. Free loader mentality is skewed outside of reality.
Nice find. The game looks great in motion. Its hard to believe a DS game is capable of looking so good. I'm interested in seeing what future DSi titles look like as the hardware's a little faster.
I like the new style although I'm undecided if I like it more than the original. The original case had this ying and yang quality about it; Only On PlayStation in black followed by PlayStation Network in white. Overall I like the new font used for PS3.
Most apps in general aren't all that useful. On a related note, Blackberry AppWorld is starting to collect more apps although I'm starting to wonder what the big deals about... Good time waster is my impression of most apps.
Trophy load up time is quite fast...as in 2X-3X the speed. Overall, the polish shows. The animated themes are nice (only 2 currently?). The PSN store is much more integrated.
I couldn't help myself...I had to get it. Depending on the time of day, the background is lighter or darker. Awesome
I still have the original two copies. Guess their going on eBay...:-p One less reason to hold unto my PS2. If Sony did this for all their most popular PS2 collections I would be happy. Just imagine...Shadow of Colossus and Ico...a few months before the new game. Awesome.
On an unrelated note, looking forward to the PSN update tonight:-)
Who in their right mind is only interested in facebook/twitter on 360? Unless you have a keyboard, and or a lot of patience for typing you could do the same thing on a PC...and faster. Isn't it obvious? Does PS3 or Wii have facebook? Sure...but the interface is browser based and not specifically designed for either. It makes sense to continue to build on the value prospect of a gold membership. Everyone that is gold already is surely excited for the "free" update. If your silver, yo...
Why do these retarded articles pop up every 5 minutes? The 360 price drop became "official" today. Also, Amazon is only one retailer. NPD will be much more representative of either price drop. Additionally, anyone that takes the console wars to heart needs to wake up and smell the roses.
Extra content always goes a long way in encouraging consumers to pick one version over another. The release of the PS3 Slim probably doesn't hurt either. With that said, it will be interesting to see which version ultimately sells the most in brick and mortar. I will probably buy the PS3 version myself.
How can Little Big Planet be anything at all offensive? People need to stop being so defensive and hurt by everything. Its ridiculous that a small "minority" of people (whom most likely aren't even consumers) force publishers to make recalls.
The Wii should only be $150 dollars at most. I remember when the Gamecube was selling for $100...4 years ago. I bought one and thought I got a pretty good deal. 3 years after the Wii launched I use my Wii less than the old gamecube and it collects dust.
Also, a couple of days ago I was musing on the very real possibility of my Wii dying. Where will all my downloaded games go? Gone. The Wii doesn't have any system in place to recognize which games you purchased. I might be selling...
Could there be other reasons it hasn't been implemented already? Indeed.
Microsoft has a patent for voice chat in video game consoles. Sony would like to implement the feature but they have to respect the boundaries of the patent or pay royalties to Microsoft.

"Homophobic" has become too broad a definition. If you disagree with homosexual marriage you are NOT a homophobe. Its your opinion. Disagreeing or agreeing is every man and womans right. It is not legally or morally wrong to have an opposing viewpoint. Its interesting that homosexuals and supporters claim the higher ground whenever someone doesn't share their opinion...simply by labeling them a homophobe. Agenda? Of course not (sarcasm).
Boycott a game all you want. Yo...
Why is every other article about RROD? Are they seasonal in nature? One unscientific survey of 5000 is taken by Game Informer subscribers and the same crap is regurgitated from a year ago... Regardless of the figure, and the hardware problems, it doesn't warrant all the attention its receiving TODAY. I had it once...others had it more. Old news.
N4G has become pathetic. The majority of the articles are about the 360 failing and PS3 "winning." What happened to news pert...
I just created a Japanese account just to try it out :-) If anyone is interested in trying out the demo, its not all that hard to create one.
