Just think if those 10 million new Wii owners purchased a "next gen" console instead. Its sort of irritating that the mainstream population seems to be passing on the Xbox 360/PS3 for a sub-HD gimmick. I hope that once the next generation arrives, all of those new Wii owners today choose something other than Nintendo...
I own the 360 version of Dragon Age and can say that it is very solid. You would have made your point if in fact the PS3 version had a better framerate and less screen tear. Alas, it doesn't. I will take better performance over better textures any day. Regardless, the PC version is vastly superior to either console port.
Regarding Darksiders, I picked up the PS3 version as the performance AND graphics seem to be better. If you have the option, pick up the superior version.

I haven't clocked nearly as much time as you (30 hours) but can also say I dream of Dragon Age...especially after a long session. I have the 360 version right now, but plan on getting it for PC eventually. My brother has it on PC and it does look quite good. The graphics for better or worse shouldn't deter anyone from getting the game however- the story, discovery and character progression make this game amazing enough.

I hate all the Avatar the movie bashing. Hands down, it was one of the most impressive visual delights I've ever been fortunate to witness. The cast wasn't "all star" but who cares? The plot wasn't bad in the least. It was engaging; if you had read reviews about how the plot was ho-hum, your expectations might full in line. I think people should keep an open mind and see this movie. Its a classic and I know I'll be seeing it again...this time on the IMAX.

The possibility is 50/50 in my book. Honestly, who knows? However, there are a few points that I think people need to consider:
*Dragon Age sold "significantly" better on 360- to the tune of hundreds of thousands of copies
*ME1 never came out on PS3
*Bioware is relatively independent- EA lets them do what they want. They are profitable doing things their way after all.

I am throughly impressed with the apparent improvements in Halo Reach. New engine, multiple Spartans, and the return of elites for enemies. I hope the graphics in the trailer are representative of in game. The hype has started...:-)
The first reason is moot. Roughly 1 million 360's were banned, however why would they switch over to PS3? They were pirates. The PS3 is not friendly to pirates, aka free loaders. If all of these banned 360's were playing free games on a modded console, why would they want to start paying for all of their games on the PS3? Makes no sense. The much more likely scenario is that these banned accounts will buy another 360 and continue to find a way to play games for free.
I never was a fan of Red Faction either, however I feel that Darksiders is different. UFC Undisputed was pretty good. Have a little faith :-p
Comparisons to Zelda put Darksiders on my radar for sure. I hope people buy this game.
I am getting the Divine Edition for sure after the demo. The game may "borrow" many different aspects from GOW, however it does it better than most other GOW clones; something I think many of us can agree with. I'm pleasantly surprised by the demo- it became a "buy" instead of a "pass."

I hope Activision-Blizzard learned a lesson...overpriced games bundled with plastic accessories are all kinds of fail. Kind of funny that the overpaid CEO's thought jacking up the price to play and making a cruddy game would equal success. The Tony Hawk franchise just can't compete with Skate.
I'm surprised the gap isn't larger between PS3 and 360. With that said, competition is good for the industry...and our wallets :-)
I was pissed at myself for not getting KOTOR last week on Steam for $2.50...now I'm doubly pissed...and sad :-( I suppose there could be a benefit in looking at the newest news first rather than the most popular.
I would love this...hope it happens. I can see a problem with the resolution making things look fugly...but we will see. I wonder if the PSP Go will be able to use a bluetooth connection directly with the PS3 (rather than over a wireless network)...that would be awesome.
No...I think your a disgrace. What do you know about this game other than its set in hell? If you've played Dead Space then you know what your getting: a quality game. Now go in a corner and tell yourself God of War 3 is the "bestest game EVAR!!!" and go away...
Everyone better buy this one or we won't see Yakuza 4. This game is at the top of my list. Reminds me a little of Shenmue (tear).
Mindboggle is right about the phone being recalled at a number of places in the UK.
With that said, the phone seems pretty nice. Too bad it probably won't come to Verizon. Sony Ericson and Nokia phones are (usually) exclusively AT&T/T-mobile because its more work to port the radio frequency to CDMA (Verizon/Sprint networks).
I can't choose between MAG and BBC2... :-(
