Resistance 2
Campaign - 8.5 (Solid I expected more, predictable, but it's still enjoyable)
Co-op - 9.5 One of the best experiences I've ever had with a shooter
60 player - 9.5 Goes from intimate to hectic and if you like that like I do, then you'll love R2
Overall - 9.3 A great launch title has become one of the best shooters this generation.

Killzone 2 is going to be amazing hands down. The only thing minor grip I have with it is that the gameplay is a little too SIM-like (too realistic as far as a space war can be). When he jump over the balcony and nearly died means that there's no way to retreat besides out running your pursuer rather than being agile enough to get away heal and come back and kill them like in Resistance.
But who cares it's still going to be awesome.
It looks just as good as Fight Night (Fight Night still is one of the best looking games to me).
So what happens if the PS3 version completely outsells the 360 version, does the PS3 version get it's own DLC or will the 360 versions DLC be timed exclusive.
I'm kind of sick of the fanboys crap.
Not everyone has to be a fanboy because they like one console better than the other one. I too like the PS3 better than the 360, but it's a matter of preference. And just because I like my PS3 better than my 360 doesn't mean I can't appreciate the 360 at the same time.

Those may just be a batch of bad screens. If you read the TGS reports on this game they said it looks good, but the problem is that the game feels dated, and the framerate is very poor.
It does look like a Japanese poor man's Oblivion, but if they can make the gameplay interesting then they can garner up some sells.
I doubt the trailer was the CG, but I don't think that's what the game looks like. I think the trailer may be an actual cutscene from the game (remember all of the GOW games had amazing cutscenes).
However I believe that GOW 3 will best one of the best looking games this gen, and since I haven't seen actual gameplay I can't say but I think it will look at least as good as Resident Evil 5 (which also look amazing, but people seem to forget that games graphics for some reason).
Agreed it would be stupid to admit it, because everyone will wait until March for the price drop.
However, I think they may be telling the truth, while March would be the start of their next year and a good way to kick off the PS3's sales, I think there going to drop the price in February the week before Killzone 2 and Street Fighter 4 comes out. $300 PS3 and Killzone 2 = $$$$$ for Sony. Plus all the other great exclusives and multiplatform titles.

Yes the PS3 did lauch over a year after the PS3 so congrats Sony.
One thing I don't get is if the PS3 is doing it's best in Europe then why is it we Americans get most of the Sony love (not that I don't appreciate it). I would be catering to Europe the most while trying very hard to also cater to American and Japan if I were Sony (Japan not so much they want RPG's and when their ready then Sony will have Japan again).

Agreed Uncharted was a great looking game, and the only thing they need to do is improve the textures (specifically ground, skin, and make the water even better). The only thing that truly needs to be improved upon is the openess. Uncharted was heavily scripted, and for a game taking place in the jungle there should defineately be more openess and various aproaches to a task.

I wonder why their plans are for online. I read somewhere a while back that they were trying to do something different with online from standard action games. I wonder what it could be. I thin I read somewhere that they were trying to do co-op, but I don't know how that would work. Anywho if this is the last GOW then what do you guys think Sony could do to replace this amazing franchise.
GG may be first party, but Sony's first parties are all separated into smaller teams that each make their own games.

They did say they attended the conference, so the source would be Sony. But if you mean how reliable the site is then I have no clue never been to dpad before.
Uncharted 2 will look a lot better. Motorstorm Pacific Rift looked kind of bland at E3, and only 3 months later it's became one of the best looking games this holiday. Same thing with Killzone 2, at last year's E3 the graphics were good enough to be accepted and this year they've leaped above that, and they also have 3 months left, so seeing how Uncharted 2 shouldn't be coming out until later on next year they have plenty of time to focus on the graphics.
The draw is the buy 2 get one free. And even though their used games it's still kind of a deal $110 for 3 practically new games isn't bad. I had a coupon with the same deal and got 6 games I missed out on for $90.
It's better if you get games you missed from earlier which will probably be about $30 per game. Don't get the $55 used game, because I'm sure Toy'r'us will have there buy 2 get 1 free sell and you'll get 3 brand new game for $120.

It looks like Uncharted meets MGS. This game looked pretty good, and it shouldn't have been canceled. Hopefully it will get picked up again and come out 2010.
If the Kool-aid is Resistance 2 then it's mighty good.
But seriously there's nothing technically wrong with the game. If your going to complain then the only thing you can say is that it doesn't feel like the 50's, some effects were left out (water blurring vision), and the single player was lackluster (It wasn't as Epic as people hyped it to be, but it was still enjoyable).
