I hate trailers that aren't indicative of the game. Why do we need to see Jin on a motorcycle dodging bullets, and jumping off highways on to buses. Unless they make a mode like this for a "Devil within" kind of game what's the point. I usually buy used games, but I do buy new games for games I feel justify the $60 price tag.

Thank you Elena and the chick from the new Prince of Persia are some of the best companians, of this kind at least. Elena wouldn't get killed, and she would take a 1 or 2 bad guys, and if you hid and left her there long enough (I tried it took about an hour) she would kill everyone.

This is what the 360 and PS3 versions should have got back in April. It's a very good game, but not a 10.
SF4 is going to be great no doubt, but I wanted a mix of many of the old characters, and quite a few new characters. SF4 is like 95% old 5% new, which isn't bad, but it feels like an update to me rather than a completely new game (feels like Super Street Fighter HD Super HD).

They did this with Indigo Prophecy. It starts off with a violent scene from thee beginning of the game.
You must not have played Indigo Prophecy. The graphics in Indigo were OK, and the gameplay was very different from anything (kind of like a PC point and click, but instead you actually fully control the character, and can do things that you normally don't expect to be don in a game like opening a window "bad example"). But the major draw to Indigo Prophecy was the story, which made it was one of the best and most refreshing games back on the PS2.

I think starting 2009 (and PS3's price drop) we will see Sony start to put the beat down on Microsoft. I think the 360 has put up a great fight so far, but I don't see anything that Microsoft has to offer to counteract the mass number of exclusives, and services that the PS3 is starting to offer. I love the Resident Evil games, but I wish they had more accessible gameplay they need to update some of the gameplay mechanics from 2 generations ago to NOW, or at least last gen (this would help draw in a larger crowd).
Anywho, I love RE so can't wait to play true co-op for the first time.
