People in general are evil. They love to see drama, and so the media feeds off of this, and reports PS3 is doomed stories. Since Sony has been first the last 2 generations the media expected Sony to be first again, and how Sony hyped the PS3 they expected the PS3 to blow the competition out of the water in overall quality. But since most games have been comparable to the competition (some PS3 titles stand), people quickly wrote it off as the PS3 is just an over priced 360. But come 2009 u...
Actually the Naruto game is really good too (once you get all the characters).
Overall pretty poor list of games, and sale prices as usual.
Agreed it's worth a watch just because it's Chun-li, but I expect this to be a big disappointment like X-Men 3 (I nearly cried at how they butchered that)
I've imagined an Arcade mode in previous Gran Turismo games similar to Burnout for the longest. Not so much as face paced off the wall gameplay, but something simple that everyone can get into and enjoy.
This would make it more accessible to everyone.
I got the vibe they were being sarcastic, even though it sounds like their being @$$HOLES. Maybe they making fun of how often they are called out for being so down on the PS3.
Or maybe that's what they want us to believe?
Anywho 130,000 day one in one region is great.
Thanks.
Is the MGS level pack out already?
My question is do all kits give you new items. The MGS pack does, but what about the Street Fighter pack and the Loco Roco packs? If not then I think that's how the trend should be moving forward. I'd glady pay $5 - $10 buck for some new levels, tools, and costumes, instead of $2 for 1 outfit.
In some cases Gears 1 looks better than Gears 2, more so because of the lack of lighting in indoor environments (a building with no power is going to be dark), and the sunset look it had during the last pics.
But Gears 2 looks much better and more realistic outside than Gears 1.
It's a shame this game is actually one of the best RPG's on the system. It could have done so much more, but hopefully they'll take the idea and make their own pokemon out of it.
Finally. I hope it's a good port.
@ 1.2 I think people did buy a PS3 for this game, just not this game alone. The PS1 and PS2 had great exclusives, and so many 3rd party exclusives, that there were so many games that you had at least 5 or 6 games that you loved to play no matter what type of gamer you are. And many people expected that to continue over with the PS3 think oh I'll get Tekken and Final Fantasy, and boom their multiplatform so that took away from the PS3's exclusiveness (couldn't think of a better word), and no...
Both hit 1 million back in November. Why post it now when it's almost January.
They all were really great
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm will be the most underrated game this year. No one is going to get it, unless they're a fan of the anime, but the game is one of the best fighters this generation, and I'm, truly looking forward to a sequel.
CyberConnect let me help you make the sequel.
The 3 girls close together are hot.
I think DLC is good if it adds more to the game rather than a couple of new levels. Burnout Paradise is the leading example of what DLC should be.
This list is a disappointment, most of the games on the list we're great.
Come to think of it there are a ton of similarities to SOTC. I guess they're huge fans.
It's all about preference and I preferred the PS3 exclusives this year over the 360 ones.
Gamefly has it for $20 on the PS3.
