PS3 managed to catch up with (and overtake) 360, so never say never.
Actually I believe last gen was the closest we've ever seen in sales.
Ironically no one remembers Remember Me.
True, though it would be nice to get some 1st party attention every now and then.
Was was already rebooted on PS3 in 2012.
Activision own Spyro as well don't they?
I seem to remember the Skylanders franchise starting as a Spyro spin off.
Speaking as a cynic, does the Vita have a long term future?
Now don't get me wrong, I love my Vita and play it a fair amount more than my other systems, but we've been getting some very mixed signals from Sony. Not least the fact that they stopped making games for it ages ago and the system is only being supported games-wise by 3rd party devs.
Maybe that's Sonys current plan for the system, but I'd say the Vita's future looks hazy at best, at least with reg...
Personally I believe politics and games should be kept so far apart one would only be able to see the other with the assistance of a high powered telescope.
However, Tropico is one of those games that handles politics in such an entertaining and tongue in cheek way that you just can't help but have a little chuckle at its ridiculousness.
As Godmars said it's likely due to system performance, if I had to hazard a guess disc read speed is probably slower on X1 or it may have something to do with the difference in the amount/speed of RAM and the way the system utilises it.
The PS3 had the exact same problem, you couldn't play most games on it without installing a fair amount of data to the HDD. Due to the Blu Ray drive only being 2X it literally couldn't get data from the disc fast enough so the the installed...
So what, a tech demo plays like a tech demo? Well bugger me with a fish fork, I'll try to contain my surprise.
Last Fifa game I bought was Fifa 09, I did get one of the PES games on PS3 as part of my PS+ subscription though, so no need to upgrade for a while yet. Not for me at least.
I don't know what it is about RPGs but I feel that they're better suited or handheld platforms. Maybe it's because I own a Vita and around 90% of my collection is either an RPG or VN of some form
TL;DR:
Company does stuff
I dunno man it's never stopped them before, I seem to remember one of the previous games they brought over was left riddled with bugs and glitches (basically unplayable) because of the content they hacked out of the game.
Now on the flipside, and to be completely fair to them they did do a really good job on bringing the DanganRonpa games over, as far as I can tell they only did a straight translation and the first two are absolutely fantastic games, I've not played Ultra Desp...
It's buzzfeed man, you should know better than to click on that shit.
I got it last week from 365games.co.uk or Rice Digital have it (or at least they did have). I believe Rice Digital may still have one or limited edition versions too with an art book, they did have one with a metal upa at one point but I think those were really limited.
Hmmm, as long as it is like their previous dlcs, don't forget they still have a publisher to please and publishers care about little else other than maximising profit.
We shall see though, I do hope it isn't a greedy cash grab, I'm not that much of a pessimist. Not yet at least.
Of course if these ever see the light of day in the west, it's not unreasonable to assume that NISA will be doing the localising again. So they'll be censored to kingdom come and we'll never see these scenes in game, not unless you import it anyway.
Season pass pre-orders.... And people think that there's nothing wrong with this industry.
Were Parasite Eve 2 and The 3rd Birthday any good? I played PE1 but never got around to playing the sequels.
Not really about the budget really, I'd say it's more about the talent of the people making the game and their determination to see it through to fruition.
Some pretty good games have been made on a budget of next to nothing but because it's literally cheap enough that anyone can make a game now it also means there's been some utter garbage been made on a budget of next to nothing too (though the same can be said of big budget games as well). The issue we have now is h...
