Gameplay are notorious clickbaiters friend. The easiest way to get clicks is to give out bad reviews to games that deserve better scores. Plus it always helps if someone at the dev/publisher is mates with the reviewer.
Sad but that's how the games press works.
I keep hearing that Black Flag was pretty decent but I still haven't played it. I own it, but it's been sat in my drawer for 2 years still in the plastic cover.
I guess I'm just Assassin's Creeded out.
Didn't Ubisoft use securom for its DRM until everyone lost their collective shit?
The same securom that EA is using now. You'd think they'd have gotten the message already. I'm just waiting for the day they try to push this crap on consoles, because you know they're going to try pull this shit eventually.
@Volkama
Now that you mention it I remember hearing something about them having a 10 year deal, I assumed that it was just that Acti will keep hold of the Destiny licence for 10 years and not Bungie itself.
Though to be fair, financially speaking there are worse publishers Bungie could have went to. Say what you like about Acti but they do have a bit of extra cash to spare. The issue is how much creative leeway Activision will allow them.
And it's arguably the worst offenders (kotaku) reporting on this.
I really do despair for this industry sometimes.
I don't think Activision owned Bungie as such. If I remember right Bungie were looking for a publisher after they split from Microsoft and Activision were the ones to come along with the biggest sack of cash.
Bungie were still, technically speaking, independent but Activision owns the publishing rights to Destiny, which is why High Moon are working on it and not Bungie.
I do hope they don't turn it into a Call of Duty knock off though, as much as I'm not a fan of D...
Why report facts when lies will get you more attention.
Wait a moment, let's see if I've got this correct.
A mainstream games news site is complaining about a mainstream news site clickbaiting? Am I seeing that correctly?
This is the biggest case of the pot calling the kettle black that I've ever seen.
Oh and: "This is it. This is the worst news story about video games ever"
You've obviously not looked very far then gamesradar, I'd recommend starting with your own archive first.
This. This so much.
I don't mind review scores so much as they give the reader a rough idea of whether the reviewer thinks the game is good or not, the actual review itself they can use for context.
The problem is that many of the reviewers these days just simply aren't trustworthy, whether they are giving out good review scores because it's a game their mates have worked on or the site they are working for has gotten a fat load of advertising cash from the publish...
Activision owns Crash so it has nothing to do with ND anymore, unless Acti approach them to make a new one.
"How money and Reputation will impact your Need for Speed experience"
And your bank balance presumably, given that it is EA you will likely be able to acquire both with real world money.
Profile pic is Kirino and talking about your brother.....
I am now suspicious.

Micro transactions belong in NO games mate. It's just that the idiot casuals who play mobile games put up with it.
I came here to say this. The first two iterations of the Vita (Wi-Fi/3G models) are what they called "legacy".
It's already obvious from the first two sentences that this article is trolling for clicks.
@redey3
More people survive cancer nowadays than 10 years ago, hell even 5 years ago, so the research must be doing some good, it's not the almost certain death sentence that it used to be. My grandad is a survivor and one of reasons he survived was due to a new type of radiotherapy treatment.
And hospices aren't there for research, their main function is to help patients and families come to terms with their conditions, both mentally and financially. They do amazing w...
@mamotte
I dunno man, maybe it's just me. It might be because, as you say, the games are lacking a bit in quantity.
What we've had have been the usual high quality you'd expect from Nintendo, though the lack of 3rd party support has shown a bit I think.
What kind of complete moron watches a film they don't like 8 times?
Whilst I do think it's a mistake that Nintendo are putting out another system so soon after Wii U, I will say that they certainly aren't in any financial difficulty like Sega was.
They made bank during the Wii years and even made a tidy sum on the DS and currently with the 3DS.
Nintendo are smart with their cash, I don't think they'll be going anywhere soon.
Because boobs are justice.
There's always the option of importing through play asia. Assuming you can read moon runes of course.
