If it's handled by NISA again I'd say the probability is fairly high.

You're assuming he thinks.

The funny thing is people tend to forget that Sonic only went down the shitter after Sega went 3rd party.

I'm sure the Vitas 800MHz CPU was already common knowledge, I'm sure I read it through an article on here a year or 2 ago. Well I suppose it's nice to have it reiterated.
To answer your question, no the Vita doesn't get emulated PS2 classics.
It does have a few remasters like the Jak and Daxter trilogy and the Sly collection.

Steam has a refund policy now if I recall correctly, they implemented it a few months back. Not sure how long it gives you, though I don't think it's 30 days.

I think the problem with the press is the way they defend broken or unfinished games after release by attacking gamers (the favourite obviously being "entitled").
You only need to look at kotaku (and I think polygon were guilty of it as well) after the release of the most recent sim city, diablo 3 and I believe mass effect 3 during the shitstorm about it's lackluster ending.
There are more obviously, though those 3 are the ones that spring to mind. Kind of makes ...

If you're in the UK/Europe our PS store is having a sale on retro games at the minute and Twisted Metal Black is on there for £3.25.

Same here mate, I have over 100 PS3 games sitting on my HDD and probably around 40-50 retail games. I'd say I'm probably not far behind 50 as far a Vita games go, might even be more, I got a 64GB memory card and it's been full for a wile now.
Also been playing Steins;Gate recently (got it a couple of weeks ago), when I got it didn't expect it to be able to capture the feel of the anime, but it does it really well. Obviously not for everyone though, especially if you...

It is backwards compatible, but not with UMDs. A way to get around this would have been appreciated instead of having to pay for games again on PS Store. Plus a UMD drive would have been even more of a drain on the devices battery (which is anywhere between 6-7 hours on a good day).
The memory card issue, I agree with, but the rest is down to personal preference really. I feel the screen is big enough, any bigger and it would reduce the portability (not to mention battery life).

They've been crapping out naff Silent Hill games for years now and they disbanded Team Silent sometime after SH4, so there's a look into the near future for MGS fans.
History repeats my friend. Unfortunately.

Oh and don't get me started on the "free" games that proliferate on the Apple and Google app stores like crabs at a particularly dodgy brothel.

@ginsunuva
I can think of three reasons right off the bat.
The first is that a device that gets refreshed every year is unsuitable to maintain a proper audience on. Imagine having to buy a new 3DS or Vita every year.
Or, perhaps more appropriately, imagine if Nintendo had released the New 3DS after a year or two years of the original 3DS model being released and games were being optimised for the new model. The owners of the original would be (quite rightly) pissed off...

Mobiles are godawful for gaming. They maybe more popular with casuals up until the next big thing comes along, but mobiles will never replace dedicated handhelds.

This is essentially it, I believe that a good number of the original team who worked on Jak left and are now working at Big Red Button, so if ND were to make a new Jak game it would likely be Jak in name only.

One of my friends gets motion sickness from driving games.
Only problem there is that he loves driving games.

So it wasn't the hackers fault that the PSP is understood to be one of the most pirated systems to date then magiciandude?
I would seriously like to know what you think happens when most of the people who own a system pirate their games instead of buying them.
You see hardware companies use games as loss leaders, which means they use them to maintain a steady profit over the lifetime of a console. That's how the industry works.
If they aren't making that st...

And it's thanks to those hackers that we're paying so damn much for Sonys proprietary memory cards on Vita.
If so many people didn't hack the thing and pirate most of their games, then Sony wouldn't have had to take such precautions.

I dunno man EA have been giving CDPR some suspicious looks recently so they may not be independent for much longer.
I do hope they don't sell out to EA obviously, that would be such a loss for the industry.
