I can't wait for when Black Ops 3 goes head to head with the next Sonic game.
Couldn't have said it better myself mate.
Kotaku and Polygon are the main offenders but naturally most people just ignore them.
I don't understand why these people can't just have fun, games are for entertainment. I guess it's just me getting old :)
Maybe not Miku or Kagura, the stink that the "progressive" websites would have kicked up over those would have been astronomical if more attention would have been paid to them.
Then again maybe they should have given them more attention, if only to rustle some jimmies and give us all a laugh.
To be quite honest I'm surprised they haven't already, it seemed to me as though that was what the digital events were leading up to.
Especially with the games press being in the state that it's in these days.
Also an accurate representation of life in London ;)
It's a good game, might have benefited from being a bit longer though. Definitely worth a play though if you have (or plan on getting) a WiiU and can get it on the cheap, which by now you should be able to.
E3 in a nutshell:
Sony: Wait, we have a handheld?
Nintendo: Wait, we have a console?
I think "restart" would be a more appropriate word.
I was surprised to learn a while back just how popular the Wii U is France.
I'm even more surprised to learn how popular it still is there!
What in the hell did they do to her face? She looks like a less hairy neanderthal.
I thought the d-pad had been censored on that vid then
Sweet, this has me leaning toward xbone now to accompany my WiiU, will have to see what Sony has to offer first though. I have to say Phil Spencer has definitely turned things around since he took over there.
Because the trailers they show off at E3 very often do not represent the build quality of the final product.
Look at Watch Dogs for example, I believe The Order: 1886 also took a kick square in the graphics.
It's just a case of people are sick of being lied to for the sake of creating hype.
No doubt the game will be fun and look nice, but it's very unlikely that it will look as good as the E3 trailers.
From the trailer I'd say a little more like Left 4 Dead than TLOU.
Why are people getting so worked up over sequels and remakes?
What we should be wanting to see are some new IPs, I don't care who it comes from, let's have some new games that are actually new.
The PS3 had the dead/dying thing symbolism attached to it in the first couple of years of its lifecycle, should Sony have detached themselves from that and moved onto something new?
Such is the standard for the UK (getting ripped off) so not really surprising.
I just feel sorry for the Aussies when it eventually makes its way over there, those poor bastards always get the short end of the stick when it comes to pricing.
You'd expect so however they get far more click-cash from baiting gamers with anti-gamer articles.
More RAM and a boosted GPU (or at least too much) would likely require it to be released as a new system like Nintendo did with New 3DS as games programmed to take advantage of those increased specs just wouldn't run on older systems.
They'd probably run the risk of splitting the current userbase doing that though. As I've always said, what the Vita would benefit from at this point is better marketing and cheaper memory cards. Yes I will bring the price of the memory cards...
I hope they put the demo on the UK PSN tomorrow, I'd love to give this a crack.
