Uncharted 3 to the rescue! Also, I think Battlefield 3 is likely to do better on PS3 than 360. EA is working with Sony to pack more into BF3 for PS3.
It's not a guarantee though. MMOs are such huge investments that they'd need to think carefully before plunging into the MMO space for Mass Effect. I think a lot will depend on what they learn from the whole SWTOR experience and how well received it is. If it does well, then they've shown that they can make and operate kick ass MMOs. But if it doesn't do all that well, I really doubt we'd see Mass Effect as an MMO.
I actually think that would be better than a Star Wars MMO!
I think Activision did make some very smart moves this year with Elite and then the XP event - both helped market the game more and engage the fan base.
I think it's unlikely, even though I would want to see it happen. But what's more likely is that some more bundles will be revealed this holiday, like that Batman bundle that was leaked recently.
I think we need to see a price cut on 360 this holiday. That would basically assure that they stay #1.

True, which is why this report is interesting - shows someone in the business who's worked with both 360 and PS3.
I think 3DS will be ok in the end, but Wii sales have fallen off a cliff and it'll probably be another full year before Wii U launches. They should probably just drop the Wii to $99. If they did that this holiday, it would be HUGE.

Interesting. I think Vita should do well this holiday in Japan, but I'm curious to see how it all shapes up in the West next year.
Perhaps they'll do something to interact with Star Wars: The Old Republic?
