Miyamoto is 58 (about to be 59). He *seems* to be in good health, and I would guess that he'd work at least another 10 years, and I'm sure Nintendo will give him massive flexibility in his work schedule if he needs it and want to keep working with them.
Also, Miyamoto gets the credit for everything, but he's got many designers working with him who are quite talented. Nintendo won't be the same, but it won't kill them. What's more likely to kill them is...
Lol, I could see that in some sci-fi movie or something.
If it were actually launching next year, you would have already heard a hell of a lot more about it from developers or other sources.
Well, the 360 is older tech, not quite as powerful.
If it's connectable to the TV and has a separate wireless controller... maybe.
PC gaming has changed - that's for sure. I've always been more of a console guy myself though.
Depends on how eager Sony is to avoid giving MS a head start again like they did with 360.
It'll be interesting if Sony does push to launch before MS. Sony lost a ton of money on PS3 R&D, and I don't know if they can afford to launch a new, souped up console. M$ has plenty of money on the other hand.
Pathetic how some people abuse military credentials. This isn't the first time I've seen this.
Would be smart for both EA and Valve to come to an agreement.
This man speaks the truth, and Rift is pretty damn cool.
Makes sense, lots of rich New Yorkers spending their money on entertainment
I think to some degree he's right. I mean everything is basically moving online, and how does everyone navigate online? Through browsers. And gaming in browsers is already happening.
Yeah I wish they would have just gone back to a standard controller too. Sigh.
Looking like a tablet is going to bite them in the ass.
Telltale makes some great stuff - quite underrated developer.
Lars Buttler has a good head on his shoulders. Hope they do well with this.
I still prefer iPad.
Maybe the next-gen social games won't actually suck
Good, can't wait to play it. The franchise isn't going to light up the sales charts like CoD but its fans love it. Bethesda puts a lot of love into each iteration - they're massive undertakings to develop.
