There's still too much money on the table for MS to ignore physical software sales. So as the story title mentions, it would have to be a hybrid that still allows consumers to buy physical copies and not be forced into all digital.
Yeah MS has been amazingly strong.
I would never buy used. You save very little and this pass stuff is irritating. And besides, we might as well support the companies that provide us entertainment we enjoy so much.
WOW. This is not good. Sony knows their pain. Stupid hackers.
Not being sarcastic. I'm not talking about game quality, but the sales of the game getting higher every year has truly surprised me.
They've been surprising me every year. I don't know what to expect at this point.
Yeah, we'll see about that. Ask the developers tied to franchises like Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero how much they're valued.
If you're a big shooters gamer and don't have a 360 yet, then this holiday might be too tempting to pass up the system, even at its current price point.
In a few years when tablets have the horsepower to really scream and you add in a wireless controller, I could see it happening
Been playing both Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 right now and yeah both are freaking beautiful. I guess U3 has a slight edge, but it's very very minimal in my opinion.
You're right - a lot of developers work based on 360 and then port to PS3, BUT that's changed somewhat in the last couple years where I think we've seen more titles actually built with PS3 in mind first.
lol, nice one
There's a good chance of that, yeah
That's what the analysts are saying, that it'll be in the spring/summer period around E3 and will dominate the market since it's usually a pretty dry release time then.
It looks freakin amazing - nice step up from GTA IV.
Kinect is fun sometimes, but my apartment setup is annoyingly too cramped and I'm barely able to get the right distance from the damn camera.
I think the combo of Kinect, Gears 3, and the fact that more people play CoD on Xbox will give MS the edge.
I can't stand virtual analogs on touch screens. Would have to be really desperate for some GTA action to play this.
That's just depressing.
Let's see... if 6.5 million were sold on first day and XBL had 3.3 million unique users, that leaves potentially 3.2 million. A lot of people probably bought it and didn't go onto PSN though. I'm going to take a rough guess and say about 2 million were on PSN with it.
